Trinity

----------

She sat in the Hermes cabin, jumbled up with all the children of Hermes. Her old bunk bed was neatly made, unlike everyone else's. It didn't really occur to her that she was actually the only one unclaimed. Her green eyes darted around, analyzing the others. Trinity was fond enough of their pranks. Today wasn't actually the best day for her to be pelted with ink balloons or caught in a net.

She kept her ears open, and heard the chatter in the room about the guy, Luke. She was clever enough not to ask about him, because she was sure they'd decline to speak of it. So she stayed looking uninterested when really, she listened to everything. "I knew he was always bad.", "I totally called him being the hero in the end. It's weird how he died but now he's back. Should we take it as a warning?", Trinity overheard the conversations. "He's so adorable.", another voice said, not many people noticing. But that one Trinity had noticed. She stared off into the wall in front of her bunk. She could practically feel herself blush.

"Incoming!", a voice shouted from above her. She dove right off her bunk bed and hit the deck, also known as the wooden floor. Laughter filled the atmosphere as Travis, a child of Hermes, looked down from the top bunk. "It slipped.", he gave a pathetic smile to Trinity. She looked over at her bunk to see black ink smeared all over it. "Great. I totally wanted to go for the emo look.", she sarcastically replied and sat up. Laughter died back into conversations. "Weren't we suppose to play capture the flag or something?", she asked, wanting to get the attention off her inked bed.

LUKE

----------

Luke couldn't seem to get rid of those green eyes he saw on that girl. It startled him for a moment that he was at the big house, and stood in front of him was Chiron. He didn't even realize that he had dozed off into his thoughts as the crowd took him here. "Impossible. I thought you were surely gone. A cursed blade shall reap.", his words muttered in Greek. Luke fidgeted in the wooden chair. Chiron looked down at Luke, his eyes worried. "Tell me.", Chiron began. "Tell me how you're here."
