LUKE

---------

Luke sighed. He ran his nervous fingers through his golden hair. His blue eyes locked onto Chirons. "Listen, I was suppose to go to Elysium. But I had chosen a different destiny. Tartarus himself brought me back.", Luke admitted, his arms making an outward gesture as if saying, "Hey man, can't argue with the god who you were literally inside of."

Luke averted his eyes for a moment. He wasn't lying about his destiny, but he did miss a few important things. Very important things, actually. Chiron walked with his horse legs, around in a circle. "Not good. You know what Zeus thinks of people rising back from the dead. He locked away Apollo's son for inventing the cure of death. Zeus could blast you at any moment.", Chiron reguarded. "Don't you think I know that? Why can't we just move on?", Luke heaved in a breath of air. He was weaker from the terrain of Tartarus. He shivered just by thinking about it. "Most campers here don't trust you Luke.", Chiron eyed Luke. "Admit it. You don't trust me either, do you?", Luke said. "I do not. I would kick you out of here, but my heart says you deserve a second chance. Not many hero's have received a chance to prove themselves. But I for one, think you could earn the camp's trust back.", Chiron explained, stroking his beard as his horse hooves clattered against the ground nervously.

"Any idea how?", Luke asked. His blue eyes looked at the wooden floor of the porch. It was awkward to have a serious conversation in the open. "I gave you a second chance, so you should decide your fate, not me.", Chiron continued. "You are dismissed. Have your siblings get you ready for Capture the Flag, I suppose.", Chiron acknowledged and walked inside the Big House.

Luke stood up and walked down the steps of the wooden porch. He made his way slowly back to his cabin. The stares and whispers of other campers as he walked by, made him feel more isolated. He sighed as he stepped inside the Hermes cabin.

Trinity

---------

Trinity was in the middle of strapping on her armor over her dark skinny jeans and orange t-shirt. The cabin door suddenly opened, and a tall, lean guy walked in. Luke.

"Luke, my man!", Travis Stoll called out. He hopped off the top bunk and patted Luke on his back. "Glad you're alive.", Connor commented, and snickers around the room could be heard. These people obviously have something planned for Luke. "Yeah. I need to get ready for Capture the Flag.", Luke muttered and pulled away from Travis. His blue eyes suddenly locked with Trinity's green ones. "Hi.", Trinity nearly whispered. She pulled up her brown hair in a ponytail, and fixed up her shirt underneath her armor.

Luke just averted his gaze. He walked over to the farthest bunk bed from Trinity's, and borrowed armor from Connor. Trinity glanced at Luke one last time and grabbed a plain celestial bronze sword, before leaving the cabin. She walked toward the forest where the game would be held. There were the Hunters of Artemis in a small circle around the outside of the forest. "I can't believe he's back.", a girl muttered. She had short black hair, and crystal blue eyes. Thalia Grace, Trinity remembered her. She walked past the group, hoping to go unnoticed.

LUKE

---------

"So how ya been?", Connor asked, playing with his brown curls. His mischievous smile was so familiar to Luke. "Been better.", he muttered. Luke tried to avoid any conversation about Cronos, but it seems as though people weren't bringing it up. He was fine with that. "Ready for Capture the Flag?", Travis called out over the other conversations around the cabin. Luke nodded. "Mind asking, who was that girl?", he asked. The girl was familiar, like Luke had seen her somewhere. Especially those green eyes she has.

"Which one? There's like seven of them who left the cabin.", Connor replied before Travis did. "The one with the green eyes, dark hair.", Luke explained. Travis smirked from across the room. "I inked her bed today.", he laughed and pointed to a bed, which was smeared with ink on the covers. "Okay, but who is she?", Luke asked again. "She's new. Been here like, two or three days. Not much. Her name is trinkle or something.", Connor joked, looking at the wooden floor. "Trinity.", Travis corrected. "Oh.", Luke replied. He could tell she wasn't claimed yet, mainly because she didn't have a mischievous smile and a nerve racking voice like the Hermes kids. Luke was about to say something else, when a horn blew, being heard from the entire camp. "Time for Capture the Flag.", Connor smirked.

Trinity

---------

Trinity walked past the circle of the hunters unnoticed. She made her way through the forest, avoiding eye contact with the other campers who wore armor and held deadly weapons. "Trin!", a voice called out. She smiled and looked over at Jacob. He was the son of Athena. He was lean and tall, with brown hair that was brushed upward, his grey eyes sparkling. He had brought her to camp after her mother had died in the fight against a pack of hellhounds. He was basically her only family. "Hey dude.", she waved slightly. Jacob leaned against the dark stump of a large tree. "Ready for Capture the Flag? We need you on defense.", he said. "Why defense? I don't guard things.", Trinity rolled her eyes, annoyed. "Because you've only been here for two days. You can't go around killing people with the little experience you have.", Jacob replied. "Wait...you kill people in this game?", Trinity's eyes lit up, half jokingly, the other half seriously. "I'm messing. I just don't want you to fall off a cliff or something. Just stay behind with the others.", Jacob smirked, but his grey eyes showed that he was serious. "Fine. But next time, I'm taking offense.", she argued, just as the horn blew. "It's game time.", He confirmed and grabbed his spear and sheild.
