It seems likes I can never prove myself,
Nobody believes I have problems too.
Thinking I'm a child,
With childish ways.
Nobody tries to see the person behind the persona.
They love to talk to me for fun stories.
But I never hear other stories back.
Thinking I'm Dr. Seuss
No dark stories at all.
Nobody tries to learn my alphabet.
Go play with your toys they say
Because there's nothing I can do to help.
Thinking I'm a train conductor,
Not thinking the train is going to run over my life.
Nobody tries to put more coal into my life.
Everyday I dress up all cute.
Having a dress and headband.
Thinking I'm a doll.
Not realizing dolls don't have souls or a life.
Nobody tries to take off the mask I put on.
It's silly to think hide ń seek was more than childish.
I'm hiding deep within myself.
My childish self.
The one I perceive to be.
Nobody tries to see the me inside.
