"I'm gonna miss you so much Kylie!" One of the girls from my school was telling me. She hugged me tightly and let go, smiled at me and turned away.

She's such a fake. I know all the girls at this school absolutely despise me at this hell of a school. I've never gotten along with girls. Except for a few in my childhood and now just Aubrey. I've managed to hold her in my life for this long. She's a foster kid. Soon she won't need it anymore since she's 17. I'm 17 as well and I don't have any parents either. Unlike Aubrey, my parents passed away when I was 14. Some idiot with a gun, my dad saved my mom from getting shot when this douche tried to mug her. But he shot her soon after. My brother moved away last year when he was 17. He wanted to finish high school on his own. I guess he didn't want everyone bugging him about mom and dad. Plus I know how he feels about our aunt and uncle. He never really liked them.

So everyone is saying they're fake goodbyes to me because my brother Ashton invited me to come live with him for my junior and senior year of high school. Of course my aunt and uncle are more than happy to send me off else where. They aren't very compassionate people.

Since Aubrey is a foster kid, I invited her to come with me. She sorted everything out and now she's coming with me to live with my brother.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous to go to another school. I'm so nervous! Not that I even care if anyone likes me. I'll have Aubrey and Ashton.

Me and Aubrey made our way back to her foster home so she could pick her things up. I helped her carry everything out and we made our way back to my place.

Once we got there, we made our way to my room. It was filled with boxes and suit cases. I have way more stuff than Aubrey. She obviously didn't have much since it was all her foster parents things, besides her clothes and a few sentimental things.

Our flight is tonight and we have only a few hours.

"Kylie!" My aunt yelled for me. "Get your things and Aubrey's things in the car! Your uncle is waiting in the car."

"Okay, we'll be right down." I told her.

We finally got all our stuff in the car and headed to the airport. We made our way through the doors and left all our things for the staff of the airport to put onto the plane. I said my goodbyes to my aunt and uncle and we made our way onto the plane.

*Skip plane ride*

The plane ride didn't take too long. I fell asleep and listened to music for the most part. Our bags and everything were being sent to my brothers house so we didn't need to worry about any of that. It was way too much for just us to carry by ourselves.

We walked down towards the exit and there I saw a huge colorful sign with mine and Aubrey's name written on it, and a smiling Ashton underneath it.

I ran towards my brother with a huge smile spread across my face. I felt my face get hot and knew what was coming. Soon my eyes were watering and spilling over. I crashed into my brother and he just held me there for a long moment before releasing me and taking the one bag I had in hand.

"Hello there sis. Miss me?" He asked with a cheeky grin.

I slapped his arm but couldn't help but grin back. "Of course I did, or I wouldn't be standing here crying like an idiot." I said.

"Well I missed you too." He said.

"Hey Aubrey! How've you been love?" He asked looking over at her.
