Why Would You Do That!?

*Takumi is now 7 months old*

It was 1:30 in the afternoon. Cinder was in their living room with Takumi whole Kai was doing some housework. Takumi was starting to learn how to crawl around by himself so Cinder had to keep a close eye on him.

"Peak-a-boo!" Cinder smiles as Takumi giggles at the silly game they were playing.

"Where did Takumi go?" She was talking in the voice someone would use with a dog, or of course, a baby.

"There he is!" He had the cutest giggle that could brighten up anybody's day. At least Cinder thought so.

"Where's Taku?" She heard a small giggle that sounded a little bit quieter than the others, but didn't think anything if it. Maybe he was just getting tired of the game?

"There he...isn't? Takumi? Where did you go?" Cinder couldn't see him. He wasn't where he was when she closed her eyes and she doesn't see him!

"Kai where is Takumi? He still won't answer me!" "Cinder he still isn't old enough to talk yet. And what do you mean where is Takumi? I thought he was with you?" Kai yelled from the kitchen.

Now cinder was getting a bit worried. Where is Taku!

"Taku!? Taku where are you?" She got up and started walking towards the kitchen thinking he might have gone looking for his father.

As she got up to go to the kitchen she saw that he was behind the couch. He was looking at a small toy with so much fascination. A small toy taco.

"Oh there you are Takumi! Taku what are you doing? It's just a taco." She said just loud enough for her and Taku to hear.

Before she could say or do anything else Taku shoves the tiny taco into his mouth. Cinder was shocked! She didn't know what to do in a situation like this.

Kai walked in drying his hands with a small tea towel.

"Cinder what's in his mouth?" He questioned.

"Just a mini taco. I think he was hungry." She answered.

"Cinder he's gonna choke! Get it out of his mouth before he tries to swallow it!" He was starting to panic for his child's safety.

"Well he was stupid enough to pit it in his mouth. He needs to learn what not to do." She said thinking that was why he did it.

"Cinder! He is only 7 months old! He can't walk or talk!"

"He still needs to learn eventually."

Just then Taku stopped looking so happy and he started to cry. Really loud.

"Oh my stars Cinder he's crying he could be trying to swallow it!"

"If he had tried to swallow it he wouldn't be so loud!"

Cinder then rushed over to Taku, pried his mouth open enough to reach her fingers in and pull out the taco.

"Ew, it's covered in Taku slobber!" Cinder said only half meaning it.

Taku calmed down only let out little whimpers now. He sounded so sad and different than from when him and his mother were playing peek-a-boo just a few minutes ago.

"See he's fine now! I'm going to feed him now so he hopefully doesn't try to eat another toy." She glances at Kai as she picked up little Takumi.

Cinder cooed at him as she walked into the kitchen to get a bottle.

"Maybe she is starting to learn how to take care of a child!" Kai said pretty proud.

"I heard that Kaito!" Cinder yelled at him from the kitchen. Kai heard a small giggle come from their child as she yelled and he felt a small smile creep across his face.

"I love you Cinder!" Kai yelled to her reassuring their love.

"Love you to Kai." He could practically hear her eyes roll.

Cinder really is a great mother. She just needs some time to learn!
