Taku's POV
Mommy's metal hand is awesome!
I wish I had a metal hand. I could have a toy crow in one finger, a spoon in another, a fork, a knife (if I was allowed knives)! It would be amazing!
"Mommy how did you get a metal hand?"
"My real hand got cut off. When you're older I'll tell you you why, but right now you're a little too young." She answered me. I wish she had told me why though? What did they use? I wonder if I could cut off my own hand and get a metal one?
"Mom, do we have anything that can cut off hands?" Maybe if we have something I can cut mine off. Then mom can get me a metal hand like hers!
"Takumi? Why do you want something that can cut off hands?" Dad was just walking into the living room where we were watching one of the kids shows on.
"He was asking about my hand." mom said. Oh no, maybe she knows I want one! "Taku, you're not wanting to cut off your hand, are you?" She knows!
"I just wanted to be like you mommy." Why can't I just have a metal hand and be like my mommy?
"Oh sweetie. You don't want a metal hand. It might seem cool, but it isn't. My whole life I was looked at as some sort of alien. I still am by some people. If you don't have to lose a hand, then you will not lose a hand. I would hate to have you go through what I did if you don't have to. Even if you do have to I would hate seeing you go through it!"
"I'm sorry mommy. I'll just paint my hand instead! Bye mommy! I love you!" I ran away towards my room to paint my hand like mommy's.
"Takumi! Don't get any on the floor!" I heard mom call down the halls. I'll just pretend I didn't hear that.

A/N: Okay so this one has been I'm my drafts for a little while and I don't know whether or not it should have stayed there. I thought I'd update on here since the last time I updated was... well... three and a half months ago? It was Halloween that's all I can remember.
If anyone has any ideas they'd like to see from this then leave a comment or message me or something, I'd love to write pretty much anything.
