I Have ADHD, So What?

Chapter 2

Presentations are done and we're about to go in the inflatable maze, but the thing is, only the maze's walls are inflatable, the ground is just the normal ground, grass. It's pretty big too, I think it's twenty meters long on each side and maybe two meters tall or something.

"Okay everyone, let's make groups for the maze!" Said Max with authority. "Three groups of two and one of three, that way it's a little bit more equal for everyone!"

"The group of three will be us!" Said Bryan next to Carla and Kevin.

"I'll be with Nolan," affirmed River.

"Okay, I'll be with Chase then," said Max. "Are you okay with being with Tera, Katy?" He asked.

I look at Tera and say, "Yeah, I'm okay with it," as I smile at her. She smiles back at me.

"I have a feeling that we're going to get along well," I thought to myself.

"Who's going first?" Asked Nolan.

"Can we go first?" I demanded.

"Yeah, sure!" They said nearly all at the same time.

"Great!"

We enter through a hatch at the entrance and we see three ways. "Wich one do you wanna take?" Asked Tera. "I'll just go by instinct and say this one," I said as I pointed the path to the right. We walk a little then turn left, a little more, then right and a little more, then right again. Two paths, one to the left and the other to the right. "If we go by logic here, it's obviously left since the path to the right would be blocked by the path that we just came from," I said with confidence. "Makes sense," said Tera as we took the left. We walk a little then turn left, walk... (a way too long sentence that was just annoying to read and that just described the path they took) ...Turn left, walk and we are done! It only took us about five minutes or so.

"So, what do we do now?" I asked.

"Well, I guess we just wait until they arrive and then, we go try out the other activities. I'll just text Max to tell him that we're done and that they can go." She said while taking out her phone.

She quickly tapes on her phone and then, puts it back in her pocket after receiving an answer from Max.

"Do you wanna talk about something in particular while we wait?" I asked.

"I want to learn more about you," she said gently.

"Sure!"

After ten or fifteen minutes, everyone was finished with the maze and ready to go to the other activities. Max and Chase went on the soccer field play soccer for fun, while Nolan, Kevin, and Bryan went to the arcade games while me, Tera, Carla, and River are playing in the inflatable games.

"Katy! I wanna race you!" Said Carla already ready to go inside the inflatable obstacle race.

"Sure, but I won't let you any chance!" I said as I got ready.

"Yeah, yeah. Tera, do you wanna give the start?"

"Okay," said Tera while approaching us. She puts herself next to us and starts the countdown, "Three! Two! One! Go!"

It's now half past twelve, so we're going to the soccer field to regroup with the boys.  When we arrive, Nolan, Kevin, and Bryan are already here, sitting in the stands.
