"Huuuh... What?!" We all said at once except Bryan.
Bryan starts to laugh.
"You guys should see your faces right now, they're amazing!" He said while laughing.
"Your question doesn't make any sense!" Said Carla.
"It's just an infinite loop," said Kevin.
"Logically, the person is lying because he said that he would never say the truth, so that means he's saying the truth and in the end, he's lying. If that makes any sense." I said out loud so that they could all hear me.
They all look at me nearly in synchronization and Bryan looks at me with a surprised look on his face.
"What?" I asked, confused as to why they were looking at me like that.
"That was the answer... I didn't think anyone would get it. Good job!" Said Bryan, still shocked.
"Oh, really? Well, in the end, it's quite obvious when you think about it—" I said before getting cut off by someone.
"Nope! It's going to get too complicated! See ya!" Said what sounded like Chase as they all left in groups in different directions.
I'm standing there, not doing anything because I still haven't understood what just happened.
"Huh... I'm all alone?" I said as I realized what just happened.
"No, I'm still here," said someone behind me.
I turn around and see Max standing there with two slush drinks in his hands, one of them is red, so it's probably cherry, the other is blue, so it's probably blueberry. He gives me the cherry one, he knows that it's my favorite flavor because I told him during science class. I take a sip of it and it's delicious as expected!
"Don't worry, it's always like this. It's only later during the day that we all meet up and spend time all together." Explained Max.
"Oh, okay! What were you doing? Did you really only went to buy us these drinks or did you do something else? Because if it was only the drinks, there must have been a really long queue. Oh, and also, I much did it cost? I'll repay you." I said as I took out my wallet.
"No, it's fine, you don't need to repay me, it's my treat. And I asked people if they knew how to get to the new part of Times Square before buying the drinks." Answered Max as he took a sip.
"So you haven't gone to the new part yet?"
"No, I'll be experiencing it for the first time, just like you."
"Yay, it'll be just like a little adventure!" I said all excited and nearly dropping my drink.
"An adventure?"
"Yeah, cause it's kinda like us going out in the wild for an exploration!" I said as I got even more excited.
"Ah, okay, I understand," said Max as he mixed the slush in his drink with the straw.
"So, what's the plan?"
"First, we'll go have lunch, then after that, we'll just walk around in the new section and explore it. Then, we'll meet up with the others when I'll receive a message from either River or Carla."
"Oh, okay, so that's why you didn't stop them from leaving like that. Also, where are we going to eat? Do you have a place in mind?"
"Unfortunately, I don't because I wasn't thinking that, literally, everyone would leave like that, I thought that River or Tera would stay with us and help us find a good place to eat."
