To Overcome The Storm

"I see... Something possessed you back at graveyard..." Nepgear said. "I wonder how such a spirit strong enough rein you over."

"I know... this is absurd. This spirit literally messing with my life right now." Neptune's annoyed as she walk to the Basilicom main office together with Nepgear.

From there, they find Histoire in the middle of the office, and the sisters approached her for a question.

"My, what do we have here? You are determined for that war out of your edgy intention?"

"Not that Histy. I realized it's not something that I should be doing."

"It's true." Nepgear added. "Neptune never intended to be doing a war in the first place. Apparently something possessed her, so she got in the situation where she will have to face the other CPU."

Histoire was surprised by that. "Oh my... How is it becoming this disastrous?"

"I think we have to find out about this spirit. Neptune said it was coming from the graveyard."

"The graveyard? Neptune, what in the Gamindustri were you doing there? You already know what had happened in the past."

"Uuuh I wasn't thinking clearly... Plus, it was pretty close to our nation."

"And Nepgear." Histoire said. "How do you know Neptune's been possessed by this spirit?"

"I am absolutely positive that Neptune was not behaving like she would do, so I believe something manipulated her."

"...that is one weak, unpractical reason you have, but ok." Histoire replied. "It may take 3 hours for me to find out a possible cause, is that ok?"

"Hmm, it's still 8 PM, while the battle's midnight, so alright." Nepgear said.

"It's a deal. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to run through my database."

Neptune and Nepgear went back to their office, and sat on their seat. They don't particularly have anything to do on this time. Realizing that they weren't eating dinner nor lunch, they decided to get some food outside.

They went to their local family restaurant and ordered some food. Nepgear ordered a regular complete meal set, and meanwhile Neptune only ordered some smaller set from Nepgear's, and she didn't order a pudding like she usually would.

Nepgear apprehensively stare at Neptune, who occasionally scoop out her meal without any sign of her eating it soon.

"Uum... Neptune?"

"Oh! Uh, what is it?" Neptune continued to eat in a hurry.

Nepgear silently stare at Neptune, who is no doubt, in a deep, life-changing situation. Nepgear thought thoroughly about her older sister and how she was doing with her.

Realistically speaking, it must be hard for someone as sweet and independent as Nepgear to have someone like Neptune, who just wouldn't clean up her mess, Lazy as a sloth, and spoiled as hell. Many people, of course, will not tolerate such behavior as Neptune is an older sister of Nepgear.

Despite all that, Neptune have her only positive asset, which is positivity. She smiles in every harsh situation, because she know she will finish her job, and she knows life will be gloomy if you spread negativity everywhere you go.

Of course, even smiling has to have a reason behind it. What is she smiling for? For whom is she smiling?

Why, it is simple. She desires a smile and happiness from her acquaintances and her only relative, Nepgear.
