"Cerrie?" I woke up that morning to John leaning out the window calling my name.
"Yeah?" I groaned, I hate waking up.
"Your computer beeped." My computer is for the cameras in the tower, I created the app just as I learned how to use my computer. It only beeps when Jester is needed, Jester hasn't been needed for years! I jumped off the roof, jingling bells behind me in my new green, straight, hair. "I see you've found a good use for the bells." Alex muttered, chuckling to himself, Laff and Herc joined in as John and I watched the screen intently.

"John get in to your suit, I'll go Jester. I do believe we're needed in an airport in Russia." We got there in a 'borrowed' speed boat, if you were wondering. We got to the airport 15 minutes before Steve. Clint  and Wanda, I learned her name when I was looking at the cameras once, pulled up in a van in the hour. "How 'bout our other recruit?" Steve asked, getting my attention again. "He's raring to go. Had to put a little coffee in him," He said, pulling open the side door. "But he should be good." A man climbed out of the van as he talked. Steve and Sam shared a look. Wait, when did Steve and Sam get together?! "What time zone is this?" The man asked. Clint mumbled something and the man caught sight of Steve. To say he was amazed was an understatement. "Captain America." He smiled, shaking his hand, a little too long may I add. "Mr. Lang." He replied. So that's his name...

"It's an honour." Lang grinned. "I'm shaking your hand too long." He stated. About time someone noticed. "Wow, this is awesome!" "Captain America." He told Wanda. She just nodded. "I knew you too, you were great." "Geez." He said, gripping Steve's biceps in admiration. I think everyone's getting a bit annoyed. I noticed a man in the blue beetle, he looked like two people mashed together, but who were they...?

"Look I wanna say, I know you know a lot of super-people, so thanks for thinking of me." "Hey man." He said, pointing towards Sam.
"What's up tic-tac?"
"Uhhh, good to see you. Look, what happened last time-"
"It was a great audition. But it'll- it'll never happen again." What were they talking about?
"They tell you what we're up against?" Steve asked him.
"Something about some psycho assasins...?"
"We're outside the law on this one, so if you come with us you're a wanted man."
"Yeah, well, what else is new?" Wait, what!?

They were about to walk away when me and John dropped down. When they heard the thud, they were on full alert. "Who are you two?" Steve asked, always the leader.
"They call me Jester, this is my partner shadow." I stated.
"What are your real identities?"
"John Laurens." John said.
"Madeline. Madeline Hatter." Sweeping a low bow, my impossibly wide smile plastered on my face. "Take off your masks." He instructed. John took his mask, I just stayed still. "I said that to both of you."
"I know. No mask here. Here look." I said, stepping forward, still smiling.
"I can't read her mind." Wanda stated.
"Lets go." Steve said, finishing making sure I had no mask.

"Now you're dragging innocent people in Halloween costumes into this!" Tony exclaimed. My bells must've been jingling, John put his hand on my shoulder and told me go shape-shift into the old me, then they'll see if I'm in a Halloween costume. Everyone gasped, apart from John of course. I heard a small 'knew it' from Clint, he knows everything. "Thank you very much Mr Stark, but we are in no costumes." Still grinning, I don't think I'll ever be able to get rid of this grin. "Who's the kid?"
"My friend." I then noticed Alex stood next to Tony, eyes wide. I sent him a glare. I dropped the illusion and I went back to Jester as we started to fight.

I was bored halfway through fighting, so I decided to start a conversation. "What started this anyway?"
"He did!" Sam yelled, pointing to the man from the car.
"Who is he?"
"I'll explain when we're safe!" Steve shouted.
"I love how this is our first proper conversation with you after a few years of knowing you were still alive!" Clint commented.
"Eh. I'm ninety something years old! I can wait some more."
"You mean you forgot how old you are!?" Wanda asked.
"Ninety three." John interjected.
"How can you remember my age?"
"Sorry, it's ninety four. It's your birthday."
"Is it a good thing that I made my suitcase out of nanobots? It's currently in my pocket."
"How-"
"Thank Tony."
"No chance!" Steve yelled. Nat had tasered black panther for us so we could get to the jet. "Thanks Nat." I quickly untied a bell from my hair and handed it to her for a little reminder.

"So who are you?" The curiosity was killing me.
"And I thought we all had each other 'till the end of the line." He chuckled.
"Bucky?" Tears streaming down my white cheeks.
"Well I'm not Alex. He's abandoned us."
I smiled. "Yeah, that bastard."
"Steve's out flying the jet." I nodded.
"You are there, so I guess that leaves me."
"Wait here, I'm gonna get changed." I said, walking into the other room. I came out with my red hair flowing behind me. I was in my green ribbon and jumper, Alice in wonderland in my hands.
"Is this-"
"Yeah, the copy I got for my birthday at Coney Island."
"We should go there for your next birthday!" Steve called from the cockpit.
"Can't do it for my 94th."
"I remembered."
"Pardon?"
"I remembered it was your birthday today. I also believed I promised I'd get you your first proper pack of playing cards. I insisted on keeping that promise." He said, handing me a pack of playing cards with the Cheshire Cat's grin on each identical backing on the cards.

"Buck..."
"If you don't like them-"
"I LOVE THEM!" I exclaimed, wrapping my arms around his neck.
"Told you so." Steve said from the cockpit, making me jump. I kinda forgot he was here, but then who else would flying the plane? Steve had also gotten me a necklace with a gem as purple as some of the bells in my hair. He and Bucky kept switching who was flying the plane so they could stretch their muscles, reading me a chapter or two of 'Alice in Wonderland' until I fell asleep.

(Bucky's P.O.V.)

She fell asleep after a few hours of reading and card games. I never knew Cerrie would be so good at playing solitaire! I carried her to the bed in the back of the plane before meeting Steve in the cockpit. "You wanna swap?" I asked.
"Sure, my knees feel like they're gonna crack any second and my butt is vibrating."
"That's your phone knucklehead." I said, swapping seats with him and patting him on the shoulder. "Y'ello?" Steve said into his phone. I guess the plan's going well then. Just before she went to sleep, she was going to call Steve once we swapped seats, just to annoy him. Yeah, it's going well.

"Who was it?" I asked as Steve sat in the co-pilot's seat.
"I don't know! They didn't talk! After the first time I ended the call, it started to vibrate again with the same number!" He complained. She couldn't hold it any longer, she burst out laughing. Steve jumped, panicking. "Why didn't you answer my calls?" She asked between gasps for air and laughs. "Just like old times..." I chuckled.
"Just like old times." Steve sighed.
"Just like old times." Cerrie confirmed.
