You don't know how sorry I am.
"Oh neither do you Jacky-boy." The girl smiled sadly. "You never did know how I felt."
Please don't shut them out, they tried to save me. I may not know that now but if I do die, they put up a fight.
"Not without I fight. That's how I'd go down." She quoted the boy as she stared at his messy cursive handwriting. "That's what we promised."
But for now, let's talk. Liam talks about you constantly, about how your eyes sparkled when you talked about what you would read, and how your hair would shine if the sun caught it just right. Sometimes about how motherly you are to Zu, you really are her protected. You really made him fall for you.
"Oh you and your insane ideas, he could never." She shook her head as the first tear fell.
But Chubs, he misses you so much. He still has your journal. He reads your chicken scratch to Zu all the time. He loves your stories more than she does, I swear he cries whenever he finishes one of your stories. Only because he knows he knows he probably won't see you again.
"Oh how wrong he was." She tried to laugh but all that escaped her was a strangled sob. "You loved my stories."
Zu, she is so grown now, her hair is so long! She really has matured, she has become a beautiful young woman. You'd love her, she adores your songs. Her favourite is "boys will be bugs." And "This is Home.". Also, her favourite character from all your stories is GALLY?! I mean what the hell!
All she can do is sob. The echo of her heart breaking cries fleeting through every space around her.
Me, oh how I miss you. You really mean the world to me, I'm sorry that I ignored the signs of my father abusing you. I am so sorry that I made you think I didn't care. I am so lucky to call you my sister, you really are better than me. You are beautiful and kind with a heart of gold, you deserve so much better. Like Chubs, he would of been the better brother. Like Liam, but not in a brotherly way, ;). But, just know to take your time to get to me, enjoy it, live life without me. Because I will always be by your side. Remember, the world is quiet here.
