🐾 Chapter 4🐾

The sun filtered through the blinds as RM made his way into an office. It wasn't at the loft, it was in the studio. It was a better place to work, considering that it was more private.

"Ugh.." RM groaned as he plopped down in his chair and looked up at the ceiling.

Like pretty much everyone else, he was tired and endlessly wanting more needed rest. Everyone had woken up early due to RJ going missing for a while, but now that RM had to work it hit him in the back like a hammer.

"I got you some writing supplies!" Said a blue koala as he made his way across the desk and in front of RM.

RM looked from the ceiling to his companion and grinned. The koala did in fact bring a reasonable quantity of colored pens and pencils. It was nice to have someone to help.

"Thanks Koya." RM said with a smile and joined the koala in spreading out the writing supplies so they could see what was what.

Koya nodded to gesture a "Your welcome" and yawned. A known fact, is that Koya is always tired. He is a koala after all.

RM had opened a drawer beside him now, and there was a few seconds of silence before he set out a calendar on the desk top. It was blank, and it's empty squares looked like gaping mouths ready to feast on any schedules RM had to record.

"This month is not going to be an easy one.." RM said as he grabbed a sheet of paper that had all the schedules he needed to write down.

The sheet was made by his manager, and it was very important to have every single date written down in the right place. If not, the members would have a hard time getting to things on time.

While RM started writing down dates, Koya had climbed onto his shoulder and fell asleep soundly. While doing so, Koya's ears twitched and small snores came from his mouth. RM chuckled at his companion and used his right hand to stroke Koya's soft fur. It didn't wake the koala, but it made him smile in his slumber.

RM really enjoyed having Koya around, it was quiet and relaxing.

Having it be so quiet, made RM realize that it was a little boring. So, he turned on the radio beside him and made sure the volume wasn't cranked to high. When it was perfect, he sat back and continued to write.

But.. something caught his attention. The radio was talking about the event that happened this morning.

"Everyone listening, we have terrible news! Twenty companions have just disappeared in a cafe, and nothing seemed to be going wrong. The cafe is located in a small town just to the west of Seoul! Scientists have already gotten on the case, and they believe that our gift is being taken away. Considering that all around the world, abuse to companions is the biggest reason why!"

RM froze and held his breathe. Their gift was being taken away? Their companions? No.. he couldn't let anything take away his best friend, not ever!

While listening to the radio, RM didn't realize that Koya had woken up and he was shivering terribly.

"RM, I don't want to go!" Koya squeaked and crawled down onto RM's lap before hugging him tightly.

The man froze again, and could almost feel tears pricking at his tear ducts. He hated to see Koya so scared. It worried him as well to know that companions near their area are leaving..

"I know, I know.." RM paused and stroked Koya's back gently, "you'll be ok, I promise." The man finished and felt Koya burying his face into his shirt.

RM then held Koya securely in his lap before continuing with the schedule. But.. it was hard. He hoped the others found out about this report, because they need to keep a close eye on their companions.

He finished the schedule soon after, realizing that he finished it sooner then he wanted. Since Jimin and J-Hope were going to arrive soon, he better come up with something else to do.

Suddenly the radio popped on again, and there was another horrific report..

"Folks, ten more have left! They were spotted disappearing in a small shop located in Seoul!"

RM felt his mouth drop and he slowly made his arms go around Koya in a hug. He was starting to really worry now, and Koya was beginning to cry. This was not good, at all.

He had to call the others, immediately.
