🐾Chapter 14🐾

"They are probably awake now.." Chimmy whispered as all the companions were huddled together in a basement.

The cold area belonged to the restaurant above them, and they had to try and stay hidden at times when the workers came down to grab boxes or something.

It was late morning now, and the companions all knew that their humans were awake and out of bed.

"Ya.." Shooky responded and frowned.

He could only imagine Suga screaming and sobbing. That's how Shooky has seen the man at times, and he didn't want him to be that way now. The cookie wanted Suga to move on, to live the rest of his life to the fullest.

"Sorry to change the subject.. but.. how are we going to get food and water?" RJ Said and felt his stomach hurt a little.

He missed the wonderful meals that Jin made him, it just made the alpaca more home sick.

"Dude, we are underneath a restaurant. It has everything we need." Cooky pointed out and folded his small arms.

"How are we going to get the food and water though? We don't have money!" RJ exclaimed with more panic.

Shooky rolled his eyes and mumbled something before scowling.

"RJ, calm yourself! And, it's obvious that we have to steal it." Said Shooky before he sighed with annoyance.

RJ froze before realizing the nasty truth. He didn't want to steal, Jin told him that it was bad. And the alpaca had seen what happens to people who steal on tv shows, they go to prison!! He doesn't want to go there.

"Wouldn't we go to prison though?" Chimmy Said, almost practically reading RJ's mind.

"It's the end of the world for us anyways so why even worry about that." Shooky snapped and turned away before walking behind some dusty crates.

He wanted to be alone right now, and having to argue over survival plans wasn't going to help his emotional state at all.

The others watched him go and shrugged. There wasn't any other way to get what they needed. Not unless they went to their humans for help, but that wasn't an option.

"Fuck this, I'm too hungry to argue." Tata said and marched off.

He looked for the stair case, and soon set his eyes on them. When the companion stepped closer, he saw that they were very unstable.

Tata was confused by this though, the place has only been there for a couple of years. And workers probably came down here all the time.

'Don't fall, don't fall, don't fall'

The heart headed alien repeated those words in his head until he had finally reached the top of the stairs. Tata slightly laughed at himself, thinking that he was foolish for being scared of some stairs.

Before he headed to the door, Tata went back to the memories he had with Taehyung.

The man would always calm Tata if he was scared, and he sang songs whenever the companion couldn't sleep. Those memories brought tears to his eyes, but he had to press on. He was getting hungry after all.

Tata then slipped through the slightly open door and hid underneath a chair.

He looked around, trying to see what he could get for the others. There was a bar to his left, and many tables to the front of him. Not many people were there yet, but he spotted a group of seven men. Bts.

Tata made sure he was well hidden before watching again. All of the members were showing emotion pain in different ways, but he saw that Tae was just starring down at the wooden floor boards. His eyes were watering, and his lips were trembling.

Tata was surprised to see that J-Hope was with the others, last time he saw him he was suffering and avoiding social contact with anyone.

"E-excuse me? Have you seen these companions anywhere?" Namjoon Said and seemed to show a picture of all the companions to the bar tender.

The man at the bar put his fingers through his slick black hair and sighed.

"Sorry men, but I haven't seen your companions.." the man paused before looking directly into the members eyes, "maybe you should consider accepting the fact that they're dead."

Tata gasped silently and covered his mouth. His tentacles shook terribly.

"They are not dead!!!!" Tae suddenly screamed out and slammed his fist onto the counter top, "they ran away, they left a note! And we need to find them!"

Tata couldn't hold his tears anymore, and he let them spill. He loved Tae so much, and he hated seeing him in pain like this. But he knew this would happen, he needed to let go.

The alien companion then took out his small gun like toy and grabbed a discarded receipt paper that was on the floor under the table. He then took out a marker and wrote down three words before sticking it to his toy.

Tata gulped before using his tentacle to stretch out and set the toy by the members feet. He hoped that they wouldn't see his extended arm go back, luckily they didn't see and he sighed with relief.

He would have to wait till later to get food. And with no other thoughts, Tata slipped back through the door to the basement. Once through, he went back to the others. He needed to tell them about what just happened.

Then, everything went black for them all.

"Sir, they are not dead!!" Tae Yelled again and the man at the bar sighed with a shake of his head before heading back to work.

The members then sat down at the table nearby. They had asked every shop that was near their home.

There was no sight of their beloved companions.

"Taehyung, isn't this Tata's? I just found it on the floor by my feet." Jungkook Said and he set a gun like toy on the table top.

Tae gasped and snatched it before looking at it. It's plastic shined in the light, and he realized that there was writing on its other side.

"There's writing.." Tae said and he read the small sentence before frowning a little.

A tear went down his cheek with his frown and he looked to the others.

Taehyung then showed the group what it said and they were surprised.

It said: 'let us go'

"Guys, I finally understand..." Jin Said from beside Tae.
