🐾Chapter 11🐾

"I hate this.." Cooky said as he paced back and forth in the living area.

Everyone was sitting there still, except for Suga and J-Hope.

Jimin arrived a few minutes earlier.

"You can say that again." Jungkook agreed and let out a small scowl.

All he wanted was for his companion to be safe, and J-Hope to be happy. He didn't want his best friend to go.. none of them did.

Suddenly, Namjoons phone started to ring, and he excused himself from the room before answering it. The person calling was their manager.

"Hey Namjoon, are things doing ok?" The manager asked and the k-pop idol could only sigh in response.

"Well, J-Hopes companion is gone. And things have been kind of crazy." Namjoon Said and he heard some small sobs from J-Hopes room.

He hated to see his friend so sad, but J-Hope has to move on himself. The others couldn't do anything, even if they wanted to. It's just the way it works.

"Oh really? Well.. I just wanted to call to let you know that the rest of this weeks activities are cancelled due to the companion issues. And.. they won't be rescheduled." The manager said with a loud shrug and Namjoon could tell that the man on the other end was stressed.

After that, Namjoon updated the manager a bit more.

"Thanks for calling." Namjoon Said and the Manager said the same before the call ended.

The man was about to go back, but he noticed his little friend Koya was standing beside him with a frown. Why was he frowning? Was it because of Mang? Probably.

"Hey little bud, what's up?" Namjoon asked and crouched down so he could talk better with the koala.

"I just wanted to tell you something, but I was hoping to go somewhere more private." Said Koya before he pointed to the bathroom right next to them.

It was a weird place to go, but Namjoon didn't care and nodded. He then followed his companion into the small room before closing the door behind him. Once inside, he sat on the closed toilet seat to listen.

Koya, stood in front of him on the floor.

"So, what's going on?" Namjoon asked before realizing that tears streamed from the koalas closed eyes.

Koya sniffed and wiped his eyes. After looking up to his friend, the koala's right ear fell and hit the floor.

It was a normal thing, and it didn't cause harm.

"I just wanted to say this because I don't know how much longer ill have." Koya paused and wiped away his tears, "I-I love you Namjoon, with all my heart. I will do anything for you, anywhere and anytime. When it's my time, I want to at least know that I'll be leaving you protected and safe." Koya finished and continued to cry afterwards.

Namjoon felt his heart soften, and his eyes filled with tears too. His companion... cared about him so much, and he needed to make sure he fulfilled Koya's request.

"Oh Koya.. I love you too." Namjoon Said and picked up the koala before hugging him to his chest.

Koya smiled a little and hugged the man the best he could. He had short arms after all.

"And one more thing." Koya Said, And Namjoon allowed the small animal to stand on his lap.

"What is it?" Namjoon questioned and felt worry come upon him.

Why was Koya acting so weird? Did he sense something? Did he... know?

"From the day you were born, I have seen so much potential. And your leadership skills are off the charts. Please, never stop going for your dream, because it's like a star in the sky. It will never go out, not in a billion years." Koya Said and Namjoon wiped his tears away.

Koya has been there for him since his very first day on this planet, and Namjoon wanted to repay him so badly. But there was nothing he could give that was even as special as the gift he had right in front of him.

"I will never stop Koya, because you give me my strength. You gave me the power to shine." Namjoon stated before he started stroking the koalas head gently.

He really wished that this crisis could end. Mang could return, everything could go back to the way it was. But now.. nothing will be the same ever again.

The two sat there for about five minutes just hugging and reassuring each other about the future. Although, Namjoon still couldn't tell if Koya knew or not about when he was leaving.

Truth is, the koala sensed it. He knew it was coming, and very soon.
