Connor didn't want to say anything. He wanted to know what the hell happened with Jericho.
"Markus, i'm afraid i don't have time to explain what has happened. I need you to explain what the hell happened with you and North."
"I- I don't remember."
"Ok umm, do you remember your name?"
"My name is Markus, model RK900."
"Thank god. Do you remember Jericho? Your family?"
"Mhhm.. and North. Where is she? Wh- why am i here?"
"*sigh* i was wondering the same thing. This is pointless; and all of this happened because of Hank!"
"That scary old man?"
"He's not scary. He's... overprotective." Connor didn't believe the words he said. He knows that Hank is scary. He knows Hank is getting old; but there is a connection with him and Hank.. he *felt* the need to reassure Markus that Hank isn't as scary or old as he seems. He still doesn't know why.
"overprotective huh? i see..."
"anyways we don't have a lot of time, i need to go and find Hank. whatever happens.. DON'T LEAVE THE HOU-"
Connor was interrupted by Markus' hot arm touching his shoulder.
"I won't leave the house.. without you." said Markus in a low and quiet voice.
"CAUSE I'M COMING WITH YOU DUMMY! LETS GO!" Markus continued instantly.
"Ok then. The door is this way." Connor said pointing at the door.
As Markus was walking out the door Connor thought, "what a strange Android."
They walked on the white, cold and thick snow without saying a word to each other. The streets were beautifully decorated with seasonal lights, light-up signs and of course, with snow. The neighboring houses had different kinds of decorations. Some of them had snowmen, fake Santas, reindeers, elves and lights hanging off the rooftops. Other houses couldn't bother to be decorated. Just the same old fake green grass painted white with snow and the wooden fences all the houses had and finally, a few of the houses were empty; still looking for someone to give them love. Just like Connor.
"Detroit is very beautiful. Especially in the winter.. don't you agree, Markus?" Connor said trying to brake the ice.
"Yeah indeed. I've never been so amazed by a neighborhood before." Markus replied and Connor nodded in agreement.
After what seemed like forever Markus and Connor where finally outside the infamous Jimmy's bar.
"Let's see if we're lucky"
