Lucio's POV:
She disobeyed me yet again. I looked at my bandaged hand just as I was ready to punch it into the wall. Do I always have to deal with this? That stubborn little girl. "Hey, what the fuck did you do to her?" Michen stormed in through the door and quickly started examining the room as he had left his shadow here.
"Did someone break those fingers of yours learn how to knock." I sighed taking a seat on the couch still maintaining eye contact with him. "I don't need to knock you piece of shit." Some friend he is I ran my fingers through my hair tugging on it in frustration. "Lucio what the fuck is wrong with you man? Do you have to be violent all the time."
"What do you mean, what's wrong with me? You were the one who said you wanted to kill her hours ago. I swear I didn't even touch her." I kept running my hands through my hair in frustration. I was a little harsh, but strange things were happening. I can barely remember anything from last night. Why was she sharing my bed with me? Perhaps I did say that, but in truth, I won't. "She's difficult to deal with yet genuinely friendly. She prepares food for us you'd rather watch us die than cook for us." He scratched the back of his head while clearing his throat. "How naive can you be to think I'd cook for four grown men?" Before I break anything, I need to calm down.
"What did you do to Kate?" In shock, I turned to face him. When I told him I hadn't done anything, did he not believe me? "I may have yelled at her and made threats, but that's all I swear." Should I act all gentle? Who does he think I am?
"Ah, you've done nothing? I fail to believe that if Jordan heard your nonsense, he'd die laughing. It's now four o'clock in the evening and she has been in that room since last night. Because you had her imprisoned in your room, we haven't had anything to eat. When we eventually found her after searching for her, she gave us the cold shoulder. She even appeared depressed and had tears running down her face, and you say you know nothing, dude. Come on, I thought you were better at doing something like this." He must be joking. This was not who I was. I wasn't the type of guy to do nice things.
"What should I do? Go give her a bear hug and sing to her. You are absolutely insane. Why are you even mentioning her with such admiration? Do you like her?" I became a little annoyed at the thought. "I would never go that route because I don't want to die." I raised an eyebrow at him in confusion. I guess he was still clinging to the past.
"We need to eat. We're going to suffer if she doesn't leave that room." While sitting next to me, he whined. "So, did you two get busy? I suppose not, considering the house was pretty empty last night." He patted my shoulder while laughing. "I'll shoot you in the head if you don't stop talking, Michen. Even though I was drunk, we didn't do anything, so the details are vague." His expression showed some dissatisfaction at the mention of that. "Because you're getting so old, I was hoping you'd get laid and think about marriage, maybe having kids. It's pretty empty here." The situation has made me even more angry as a child. That is absurd. "Michen-"
"Guess what my brother Kate made dinner for our starving ass nice!" Steven came in, beaming with excitement. "Don't you guys know how to fucking knock?" I yelled, getting off the couch and heading out of the bedroom.
Everyone was already seated when we entered the dining room, and they were anxiously awaiting our arrival. She was nowhere to be seen as I searched the entire table with my eyes for her. Not joining us, is she? Jordan said in a low voice to Joseph before sighing and starting to type on his phone. "Why would she? I bet he did her something and is hiding it." Steven openly said everyone was staring at him. He scoffed, peeking over into Joseph's phone, who smacked him on the arm. "Let's get started." Everyone bowed and announced my arrival when they held out for eating until I was seated. I was too distracted by wondering why she didn't want to join us to savour the deliciousness of the meals.
