CHAPTER FIFTY-FIVE

Kate's POV:

He kissed me. It doesn't work that way it really doesn't.

We pulled up in the driveway I got out the car with Lucio helping the children out.

They ran to the door but stopped, I'm guessing they remember what I told them not to enter the house till I say so.

"Why did they stop?". Lucio asked me and I rolled my eyes.

"Firstly your in the mafia and I don't want my kids to be sold or end up dead you idiot". I whispered yelled at him.

His eyes were now a dark shade of green and his face showed anger. Look like I hit a nerve like I always do.

"Shall we go are you going to stand there and stare at me". He gave me a small smile and we walked to the door.

I opened the door and checked and it was clear.

"Come on now my cadets the areas clear". Small bodies flew past me and soon there was small angelic giggles in the house.

"Mom,mom". Luca shouted.

"Yes my fighter?". I turned to him and he looked at me stretching out his hands for me to pick him up.

I picked him up and he looked at me and smiled.

"Thank you mom". He hugged me and took in my scent.

"How much time do I have to tell you to stop taking in my scent". Lucio looked at me and smiled.

All my children took something off their father.

Luca always took in my scent.
Lucian is always protective around me that I'm his and always smirking.
Lucy always gets what she wants.
And Lucian she wants to give me everything and wants to take me every where she can possibly think of.

"Mom down please". Luca demanded.

Once he was out of my arms he ran to the living room.

Then there came Lucian.

"Mom up up". Lucian ordered.

"Thank you Mommy". I kissed his cheek and he smirked at his father.

"Lucian what did I say about that smirking habit? Sworry mom now down down". Once I put him down he ran to the living room.

Then came my two girls holding each other's hand.

"Mom up up". Lucy said.

Lucia walked over to Lucio and she stretched out her hands for her him to pick her up and he gladly did.

"Thank you mom". They both said in unison.

I kissed Lucy and I kissed Lucia.

The boys came out running towards us.

I and Lucio were staring at each other when Lucia turned her father's head and hugged him.

They two boys gave their father a hug which I mean his legs. Smiling at the scene Lucy frowned.

"Mom go clwoser". I went closer to Lucio and she hugged him.

Our fingers brushed, my heart started racing my the feelings I had for him run all over my stomach started erupting.

"Mom smile please". Lucy said and I looked at Lucio and smiled when there was a flash.

When I turned around there stood Michen and Kevin.

They took a next picture and there was another when I felt lips on my cheeks.

"Ewww they did it agwain". My boys said.

"Kevin!!". I shouted at him.

Michen and Kevin gave each other a high five and walked towards the door.

"Don't worry we'll send you your gifts". And with that they disappeared through the door.

I frowned and placed Lucy on the ground while she ran off with her brothers and sister.

I walked to the kitchen and took out a water bottle sitting on a stool.

"What's the matter love?". Lucio asked and I could feel his presence behind me.

Who's he to call me love he has no right.

"Lucio don't ever call me that". I said in a calm voice taking another gulp of water.

"Why shouldn't I Kate? Because you have no right and I think you should leave". I turned around looking him straight in the eyes.

The eyes I usually get lost in the eyes that stared at my body in love and admiration the eyes that'll watch me with single bit of movement I made.

"Kate I'm sorry I knew I was wrong to throw you out and I admit I was stupid to cause you so much pain but I honestly had no idea that someone framed you if our daughter didn't overheard that person's conversation I'd still believe what I saw. I know your not going to take me back so easily but I'll try everything to get you back and our family and what I missed out I'm really sorry I'll just go like you asked me to". A tear fell down my cheek.

He took a step towards me and wiped away my cheek with his thumb and caressing it. He gave me a kiss on my forehead and mumbled a I love you in my ear and left.

"I love you too Lucio no matter how much pain you caused I'll always Love you and I hate myself for doing so". I whispered when small bodies ran up to me.

"Mom where's dad?" Lucian asked me looking at me with a frown on his face I could tell he know I was crying that's how my baby boy stays.

"Daddy has some work baby he'll come tomorrow". I smiled at my babies who looked at me with sad expression.

"Okay Mommy I'm hungry". I knew Lucy would say this.

"Go and let Kim get you all freshened up today I'm making nuggets yeah my babies". And they smiled at me and smirked at each other not again.

"HURRRAAAAYYY NUG-GETS". They shouted in unision and hugged one another.

"Go go and let Kim get you all freshened up". And soon they ran off.

And Kim was my maid she helped me around the house and with the kids she was also sometimes the kids driver.

I walked over to refrigerator and looked for what I needed and started preparing the food.

My mind trailed off to Lucio and how he'd normally prepare nuggets for me.

I do miss him and I wish he'd just believe me we'd be happy my kids would be happy.

And my son wouldn't be suffering and asking for his father every minute.
