BETTY POV
I woke up and Jughead was still asleep. I layed there for a moment, just watching  him. Until the door slowly came open.  I pretended  to be asleep. Jughead woke up.
Jughead: What do you want?
He said sounding angry.
Betty: Jug, what's  going-
Hal: Suprise.
I turned  to face my dad. With my back against the wall.
JUGHEAD POV
I was woke up by footsteps and the door knob turning. Thinking it was sister Woodhouse, but it was someone I wanted to hurt very much.
I noticed Betty, move, back against the wall. When her dad walked in.
Betty: Seriously dad, what are you doing here?
Hal: Well, I came to see how you were holding up, I went to your room but you weren't there. So I asked someone if they knew where a Jughead  is. To my surprise they lead me straight here.
Jughead: Okay, well why are you here, I mean really?
Hal: Could we just have a moment alone please.
He said looking at me then at betty  with a slight smirk.
Jughead: Why?
Hal: Because she is my daughter, and I want to talk to her.
Jughead: I think you lost the right to call her  your daughter, don't  you?
Betty: Jug.
BETTY POV
My dad was asking to be alone with me. I could tell Jughead was already making a fist, thinking of what he should do, or say.
Then finally he said what he wanted to say. Before I knew what was going on, my dad had Jughead slammed up against the wall by his throat.
 Betty: Dad STOP.
Hal: Awwe that's so sweet she's protecting you. Shouldn't  it be the other way around?
 Betty: DAD, LEAVE. PLEASE.
hal: don't you DARE RAISE YOU VOICE AT ME ELIZABETH.
He said letting go of jughead.
Betty: I'm-
Hal: WHAT  YOUR  SORRY??
I looked at Jughead, on the ground trying to catch his breath.
Betty: No I'm not sorry.
I mumered.
JUGHEAD POV
I could hear what she said. How dare Hal raise his voice at her, then try and say, for Betty not to raise her voice at him?
I finally got up, and looked at betty.
Hal: WHAT DID YOU  SAY!?
Betty: N-n nothing.
Hal: YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU LIE TO ME ELIZABETH.
I wondered what happened, but then pushed the thought away.
Betty looked at me, with tears in her eyes. She took a deep breath, and made a fist. Ready for what was to come.
jughead: SHE SAID NO. SHE'S  NOT SORRY. AND SHE NEVER WILL BE.  NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMESYOU AND HER "MOM" HIT HER. HOW MANY TIMES YOU HURT HER.
Hal: DOES HE KNOW? EVERYTHING? IN DETAIL?
betty: So what if he does?
Hal: OH, THAT'S  IT.
He lunged towards Betty, and she backed away into a corner and slid down to the floor.
Betty: Jug.
She said worriedly. Telling me she was terrified.
Jughead: HEY!
Hal: WHAT DO YOU WANT.
jughead: why do you do this? Why do you act this way?
Hal: HER LIFE IS WORTHLESS,  SHE IS NOTHING BUT A SLUT. AND THAT'S  ALL SHE EVER WILL BE.
jughead: WHAT, SHE'S  WORTHLESS, ALL BECAUSE SHE WON'T DO WHAT YOU TELL HER TO DO, OR MAKE HER DO?
Hal:  YOU KNOW NOTHING.  EVERYTHING SHE SAYS IS A LIE. AND WHEN YOU REALIZE THAT, THEN  YOU  HAVE THE RIGHT TO TALK TO ME. UNTIL THEN, GET OUT.
jughead: this is my room. And I'm not leaving.
Right then he came towards me. But also the man  we seen yesterday  came in.
Fp:WHAT IS GOING ON HERE???!
he looked at betty and seen she was crying. He looked back at me. Seen that I was so angry.
Hal: nothing. That concerns you.
Fp: actually, this does concern me. That boy you have By the throat right now. That's MY son.
Jughead: What???
Betty: I knew you looked familiar.
Fp: yep, told you and uh.  Who are you?
He said pointing to Hal.
Hal: I'm bettys  father.
BETTY POV
I didnt like what  was happening  I thought my dad would kill jughead  and do only God  knows what to me. That was until the man from yesterday  showed up, saying he was Jugheads  father.
He looked at my dad asking who he was. When he found out. He looked back at me.
I was still on the floor. Jughead now in front of me.
I was so happy I met him. Again.
Fp: Well uh. It's time for you to go.
Hal finally let go of Jughead, again. Jug, rushed over to me. And I hugged him.
My dad rushed over to FP and just stared at him intimadatingly.
