Betty: No, but I have a feeling it's  because of them. Did they send me here?
I said nothing. Still trying to calm myself down.
Jughead: There was a note when we found you. When we did find you, you were unconious.
Betty: Were is the note? Why was I unconscious?
Jughead: The note was right beside you and we don't know why you were unconious or what caused it.
I stepped closer again, seeing the terror in her eyes, and tears. It made me sick just thinking about what those monsters she had to call parents did to her.
Jughead: Betty, if you don't mind me asking. What happened to you? What did they do that makes you jump and get this  scared anytime someone just walks close to you?
Betty: It's a long story, you wouldn't care. It's not your problem.
She must have remembered something.
Jughead: Betts I would care, I do care, I can tell, you  have major  trust issues and you doing everything you can not to curl up in a ball right now. I care about you.
I took one more step.
BETTYS  POV
Betts? I like it. He was right, in every single way. He took one more step, and normally I would curl up In a ball, but in that moment I felt myself relax.
Betty: Are you sure you want to know?  Jughead: Yes, I'm sure.
Betty: Okay.
I take a breath and start telling him.
When I finished he was crying, but he looked mad.
I thought he was mad at me.
Betty: A-are you  okay?
Jughead: Yea I'm fine and no Betty before you ask I'm not mad at you.
Betty: how did you know that's what I was thinking?
Jughead just smirked.  Which made me blush a little.
He leaned in a kissed my forehead.
Jughead: Your safe here. I won't let anything like that ever happen to you.
Betty: I appreciate  that, but you can't promise that. You're  the only person other than my parents who know about my life.
Jughead: Well I'm happy you told me Betts. Meanwhile. Let's  get some sleep.
Betty: That sounds great Jug.
JUGHEAD POV:
After betty told me about her past, it was hard to stay calm and not get mad. Difficult more less. When I was finally calm I went to sleep, but I could tell she didn't want me to know something. Which worried me. Betty was already sleeping and I watched happy till I seen her wrists and  palms. I slowly  got up and left her room. And headed back to mine.
BETTY POV
When I woke up I was alone. Thinking last night was a dream. I guess I was wrong. They abandoned me. Could be for the best or the worst. I heard a knock at the door.
Betty: Come in.
I say. As jughead  walked in.
Jughead: Good morning. Betts.
Betty: Good morning Jug.
I noticed he was staring at the scars on my wrist and  plams. I try to casually coverd them.
Jughead: Betts, what happened. Did you do this to yourself?
He asked sitting down on the bed. Lifting the sleeves  to reveal the scars again.
I nodded.
He sighed.
Jughead: How many times?
Betty: Three times  a week.
Jughead: Okay. Is that why your here. For trying to end your life?
I nodded then shrugged. I guess that was the  reason.
He seemed upset, but understanding.
Jughead: I- I don't know what to say.
Betty: I expected that. What can I say Jug I deserve all this.
Jughead: Hey no, don't say that. Betts you deserve love and happiness. I don't  ever want to hear you say that again. Okay.
Betty: Okay.
He leaned in and kissed me. This is the happiest I've  been in a while.
He pulled away
Jughead: Sorry. I shouldn't  have done tha-
I cut him off with  a kiss back.
I pulled away.
Betty: Finish your sentence.
Jughead: No need to.
I giggled.
Jughead: I love it when you giggle.
Betty: Stop.
I say laughing. We talked for a while and laughed.
When I saw her walk in.
