Jo
I rushed through the hospital in search for Letoya. When I reached the office, everyone gave me the run down on how someone had been in a accident regarding Letoya's family. I made a few calls and rushed her afterwards.
Rounding the corner, I saw Letoya sitting in the waiting room. "Letoya."
She looked up at me and her face furrowed as she chuckled. "Jesus Christ, it just isn't my day. What Jo?"
I was confused as to why she was handling me like this, but I let it slide. "They told me at the office that something had happened and you were here. Are you okay?"
"Yeah. That's all you needed?"
"Did I do something or?"
Letoya shook her head. "Jo, you don't want to have this conversation in this waiting room, so I'd advise you to just leave. Don't you have shit to do with the election?"
"Okay, you are not talking to me like that. Let's have this conversation because if we don't then we are about to have problems."
"We already got problems Janet."
She knew my name... how the hell did she know my name? "Okay, so you're upset because I didn't tell you my name?"
I watched as her eyes pierced into mines with emotions laying behind them that I've never witnessed before. "You know what, I can't even be mad at you. How in the hell could I ever believe that I was the only one who signed the contract? How could I even start to believe that I was really the only exception? You are so fucking heartless. You don't care about anybody but your self. How are you this fucking selfish? How dare you let me fall for you and it all be faulty? You're fucking bullshit Jo, and to think I defended you to Kelly. Just leave."
"Letoya, I can explain. Just give me—."
"Leave Jo. Go." She cut me off in all seriousness.
Shaking my head, I refused to move and was lucky that this waiting room was empty. "Look at me Toya." She didn't and I walked up to her and moved her chin in my direction. "Baby, you are different. None of those other women meant half as much as you mean to me. You are the only exception. Please believe me when I say this baby, I love you. I know that I have a lot of making up to do, but just give me the chance to do it. I can explain everything. I didn't want to tell you because I really didn't know how—."
"Jo, leave me alone. It's not a question anymore and in a second I'm going to raise my voice because you are testing my patience and it's taking everything in my not to cause no damn scene in this place. I'm sick of your damn lying. Dead ass, walk away from me."
"Letoya—."
"Who are you? Apparently I don't know who I'm sleeping with. That chick knew more about you then I ever was going to know. What else don't I know? Be honest with your self, and the world for once. Don't you ever get sick of living a lie?" I was about to reply but she scoffed. "You know what, never mind, I don't want to know. I don't wanna get my feelings hurt again. Just... go."
"Baby, I understand that you are hurting and that I fucked up. I'm admitting it, I messed up but—."
"Jo! Go!" She snapped, sticking to her word and raising her voice, before sighing. "And this time, don't come back."
Inhaling deeply, I turned around and walked the other direction. My chest tightened with each step. I was losing her again, and this time I didn't have a feeling she would be back.
Even though this was my fault, anger set in. Who in their right fucking mind would fuck over Jo Jackson and get away with it? No one. I wanted to know who told and I wanted to know now.
When I got outside, Owen stood outside of his truck waiting for me. He saw my face and sighed. "It didn't work out?"
"Take me to my office. Now."
"Jo, you seem—."
"Now!" I raised my voice as I got into the truck. He closed the door after me and got into the drivers seat. We drove to my office and when I pulled up, camera men were just now leaving. When I opened the door their faces lit up. They began trying to turn on their cameras again but I had already stormed pass.
Getting on the elevator, I climbed the floors and when the elevator opened everyone saw my face and the volume went silent. Stepping off the elevator, I pointed to David whose eyes widened as I asked. "Who talked to Letoya today?"
He scrambled before answering. "Uh I did, then Gil and Shawn."
I know damn well my friends didn't rat me out. My jaw tightened harshly as my eyes narrowed. "That's it?"
He nodded quickly. "Y-Yes ma'am."
"Jo." Gil called out to me and I looked over at him. Shawn was standing next to him and so was another person. When I looked closer it was Lila standing there in a damn black trench coat. "We need to talk."
It all made sense now. Fucking Lila. This obsessive ass bitch had nothing better to do than mess with my life all because I didn't want her anymore. Red ran over my eye sight as I charged towards her. "You! You fucking bitch!"
My hands clasped around her neck as I threw us to the ground. Shawn grabbed me and tried to pull me up but it was no use. This bitch has to die today. She fucked up my relationship and now she won't have life in her. An eye for a eye. My world went silent and everyone disappeared. It was just me and this low life ass bitch.
It felt like hands were all over my body but my grip still stayed as Lila clawed at my hands desperately. Against my will they picked me up and got me away from her. She scrambled up to the floor as they picked me up off the ground completely.
"Take her to her office now!" Someone yelled.
Whoever had me in their grasp took me to my office and when they put me on my feet, I didn't calm down at all as I ran my hands through my hair. Shawn and Gil came rushing in as Shawn spoke to the other people in my office. "Everyone out. Now."
People began leaving the room and the last person shut the door. I turned to them. "How the fuck did you two allow her to tell Letoya that?!"
"By time we came in here the damage had already been done." Gil explained.
Shawn seconded. "She was already in your office with Letoya. We been calling you all day to try and warn you."
"I left my damn phone at my place and I wasn't turning around to get it. I just—." Anger went away as other emotions surfaced. "She's gone guys. I really lost her this time. She's not coming back."
My friends heads began to hang almost as low as mines as Gil mumbled. "Love doesn't just disappear. Have faith Queen."
