Few lines. Few lines, for sure ... But I like the idea of going back to work with P'New.
He had so many good ideas about LoveSick and he used to whisper them while we ate lunch at intervals, last year 2015.
Now this man in front of me is in ecstasy "lecturing" about his series, finally being able to direct and making of it his precious child, just the way he always wanted to.
MAKE IT RIGHT is a new BL for which I did test and I passed. Not that it had been too hard to win the character. It was nothing complex. Champ is a basic, comic character, being there to support protagonists. Anyone could interpret it, but the director already knows me and knows that I like to make people laugh, he says that my face is funny and I have never seen it as an offense 5555.
My name is Phiravich Attachitsataporn. I'm 17 years old and since I'm 15 I work as a model, I eventually work in commercials and I rarely get a "tip" in series and short films.
I earned at agency the artistic name Mean. Not that I do not like my name. But at modeling and performing arts agencies we have always earned nicknames used as a stage name to "sell us better" in order to facilitate a long-sought international recognition.
Mean has a good pronunciation and carries a certain mystery. It means, as an adjective, cruel, but as a verb means "to mean." Then there is this duality that is useful to me. Speaking about English, I'm not at all good in the language. My accent is strong and I choke up too much. My manager teases me for that, but he also has a heavy accent, so we get "fighting" with each other.
But coming back to the series, the first cast meetings were quite nosy. Agitated boys laughing over anything, 'til having no reason to laugh and still laughing. I thought someone had christened the juices we drank. It would be irresponsible to give alcoholic beverages to minors, but you'll never know rs ... These boys are crazy. I ain't no saint, I'm fucking teaser too.
I'm closer to all them. We talked and had the LINE of each other. We have a group of actors in the APP and we always screw up there.
Today is different. Today the director is commenting in detail the dynamics of each couple. I'm sitting between one of them. "Distracting" the ship #FrameBook
I confess, I think the actor who makes Book so cute. I like his sweet eyes and voice. Even exchanging messages in the group, no one there reveals much of himself. Nobody touches on the subject sexuality itself. We just joke about who's the "wives and husband" in couples. So it is virtually impossible to see who is gay, straight or prefer animals. All boys are between 15 and 20 years old.
-N'Toey. N'Ohm. -The director says. -You here. Right now! -Points stop boys sitting on the floor next to me. Them get up and go to the opposite side of the rehearsal studio. Sit down like couple. N'Ohm, A boy also handsome, but with a very different style of caramel-tone skin. In fact, the two main couples have this feature, a lighter one, a brunette one. P'New likes to merge tones. Slowly all the ships are seated side by side, the director insists they are not afraid to be bitten and shorten the distance.
-In the next few months you will need to develop a chemistry so strong that it jumps into the viewer's eyes in the first few minutes of the scene ...
He speaks at length about it. Being watched closely by the pairs protagonists and also by us "the excluded ones" as we call those who will not have a boyfriend or affair in the plot. On the one hand, I find the position of being "alone" extremely comfortable. The risk of not being able to work a good chemistry with your pair and end up having to be replaced from the cast is great. Investors do not have the slightest attachment to anyone. If they consider that a pair of actors did not "marry" well, they ask for the exchange.
I would have liked to have witnessed the "chemistry" tests which, different from school tests with formulas and combinations of elements, combine the boys who dream of an artistic career or simply think that this makes "easy money". Well ... the auditions are not easy, nor for those who watch. But the BoysLove genre is practically the starting kick that every young boy dreams of, because the audience is faithful. And companies dispute having our faces in their products.
I do not have much to do while couples do their eye contact exercises while the director describes the feelings that each feels individually by being next to each other, and then the feeling that exists in common. For this reason I am here rambling about everything and about nothing. But there is this boy, P'Rathavit, who holds his lips together, squeezing them to a thin line. Clearly trying to control himself not to laugh abt something funny that he himself understood. It distracts me from my thoughts.
I recorded his name rather than the stage name, as the director had recommended, as it sounds similar to mine. Both have the "WIsh" termination. So our first talk last week was just me saying "your name is great, especially the ending" to he replied "just because it reminds of yours, shown up?"
It was not a long conversation, but it was funny.
"I can not believe you're older than me. Have a face of 13 years." -I said as I reached for a napkin. We were standing next to the snack table.
"But I am!" -He shook his head as though emphasizing the fact. - I demand respect! -He carried a full glass in his hand and his fast swing made drops of juice turned. I laughed.
-Are you sure, Phi Clumsy? -I asked. -"Do you need a bib?"
