-So Sorry I...

(...)

There was nothing I could do to get around the situation.

When I realized my son and friend were about to kiss, I was already completely in the kitchen.

All I could do was shaking by surprise. Apologizing me. Turn my back and get out of there.

Minutes later...

They prepared the table in the dining room, and here we are, us five. The young man doesn't have the guts to look into my husband's eyes or mine.

Fortunately, my daughter fills the silence by telling all the events of the day.

As for my son, it's like there's been no flagrant.

I'm not a mind reader, but... Judging by the counter point, the visitor is justly ashamed that my son does not show any reaction that would refer to what happened.

I don't know if they continued where they were.

I don't know if it would be better or worse if they had. My mind is a cloud right now.

My boy has never, in 18 years, shown interest in the same gender and I suspect the other is confusing him. Which would explain the distinctive look he had before.

I thought he was admiring the talent of my Rathavit, but...

It wasn't just that...

My husband is telling abt his profession and the boy seems to have relaxed a little. Aside from the fact that he has his hands sweating. I realized that when I saw him deliver the salt shaker my husband asked for.

-What did the doctor say about exaggerating the salt, Pax?

-That we shouldn't talk about it when we have a visitor at home, my daughter.

My husband responds to Prince and they laugh at her.

-Mæ̀!

I'm so absorbed in thought that I don't notice when she calls me to complain about it.

Finally, the kid boarded the UBER and went home.

I felt I needed to talk to my boy, but... I climbed up to my room claiming I had a headache.

So many ideas boiling without space or with whom to clarify.

I'll have to live with them until dawn.
