You and Thomas were best friends and usually ran the maze together. You had finished and now you were in the map room drawing up the maze's position. You admitted to yourself long ago you had a crush on Thomas because besides from Newt he was one of your closest friends. You were scared to admit it to him though because he showed no signs of liking you back.
You two had finished drawing up the map and Tomas opened the door. Well attempted to it was jammed shut. "Them shucking slintheads!" Thomas yells and you wince."You think they locked us in here?" "Yeah they are trying to get me to...." He stopped suddenly and his cheeks were tinted with red. "Hey you can tell me Thomas" You said smoothly even though butterflies were going crazy in your stomach.
"I'm scared it will ruin our friendship" He muttered and my heart stopped. "I like you Y/N I have since you entered the glade" You grinned suddenly and whispered. "I like you too Thomas" His face breaks out in glee and you giggle. He pulls you in for a tight embrace and he laughs at your height. You just made it to his chest but you diidn't mind, you liked hearing his heartbeat.
He leaned towards your mouth and you got on your tiptoes to meet his. You know how most people say sparks ignite, this was more than that this was a show of a thousand fireworks going off at once. You faintly hear the door open but you were to caught up in the kiss to notice. "Those Slintheads finally worked it out!!"
You hear Newt yell and you break away from Thomas and his hands wrap around your waist as he gives you a backwards hug. Everyone made catcalls and wolf whistles but you laughed them all away. "Shut up you piles of Klunk!" you yell. Everyone laughs at your sentence and Thomas whispers in your ear. "I'm glad they opened the door I might of lost it" You giggle and raised an eyebrow and looked at him.
"I think I might Love you Y/N', not think I know. I know I love you" Thomas whispers in your ear. "Love you too" You whisper back to keep it a secret from everyone else but him.
