I squeeze Thomas's hand as I hear the Greivers getting closer to the Homestead. Fear covered all of us like a cloak. He squeezed my hand back and he opened his mouth to say sonething. "Katie, I should of told you sooner but I like you, really like you" "I like you to Tom" I reply and he grins "I love it when you call me Tom" I smile widely.
The greivers get closer and Thomas pressea his lips to mine quickly. He pulls away and says "I've wanted to do that for awhile" "Do it again then" I suggest playfully and he latches his lips to mine. I close my eyes and I feel him smile against my lips. "Well Katie, at least I have you by my side" All my fear vanishes and I lean my head against his shoulder and wait for the night to vanish.
