Jungkook was probably the world's heaviest sleeper, according to his brother anyways.
They only way he'd get up willingly was if his alarm was blaring directly into his ears; so pretty much the exact opposite of what happened this morning.
He opened his eyes, noticing it was a fair amount brighter outside than it usually was.
Shit.
He shot out of bed and glared at his alarm. Panic started rising in his throat at a slow pace once he started to realise he was going to be late.
The brunette boy flung himself out of bed and tried to make himself semi presentable before running outside, stomach aching horribly.
While running down the hallway to the stairway, he recognised a pink haired boy that Jin introduced him to.
Jimin, right?
Probably.
"Hey! Jungkook-a, slow down!" The older boy called from behind.
The former had to sit for a second to catch enough breath to keep his frail body going.
"B-but I-I-I have to go, like now," Jungkook spat out quickly, his speech jumbled and slurring slightly occasionally.
"You need a ride, kid?" Jimin asked, walking the boy down the stairs.
The youngest hesitated before nodding.
"Where to? You go to the university by the cafe you work at, correct?"
"Yeah, sorry to be a bother, Jimin-ssi." The nervous boy bowed before stepping into the car.
"Its fine, besides my job is pretty close."
"Where do you work?" Jungkook's words were still very messy, yet understandable.
"You alright? Anyways, I work part-time at a preschool. I love those kids, they're so cute!" The older exclaimed happily, a smile wide across his slightly plump face.
He wished he could be that happy.
Maybe someday.
Optimistically, it'd all get better magically like it does in poorly writing stories made by 12-year-olds online.
Realistically, nothing would ever get better unless he did something about it, no one else.
Improvements were being made, he likes to think.

Before he gave his overtired mind enough time to process where exactly he was, he was standing outside in front of his college with Jimin driving way and waving out the window.
As he collected himself, he put a reminder in his phone reading, "Ask Seokjinnie for Jimin-ssi's phone number!!!"
The young boy smiled and walked quickly to class, in a relatively joyful mood for the first time in a while.
The rest of his day went along as it usually did; go to class, go to work, go home.
The only key difference was how hard it was to drag himself through the day. By the end of his school day, he was so dizzy he could barely see straight.
