(pic of Lena)
Jax's POVI ignore the excruciating headache and run after the girl. She was leaking blood. Regardless of her book hitting me in the head, I needed to help her somehow. There was something different about her.
"Stop! I just want to talk! Please." I begged. Never in my life have I ever begged for someone. What the hell is wrong with me.
"No you're gonna hurt me!" The girl cried. She continued to run and I continued to run after her.
The girl was fast but I was faster. Eventually, I caught up to her. By then we were already on the other side of the school.
She slowed down after about 5 minutes of running. "What...do...you...want." She said out of breath.
"To talk." I told her.
"About what?" She questioned.
"Why did they hit you?"
"None of your business!" She snapped.
"I'm just trying to help!" I exclaimed.
"You can't help me! No one can."Her eyes filled with tears. She was about to cry.
"Stop." She said.
"Stop what?" I asked.
"Feeling bad for me!" She yelled.
"I don't feel bad for you!" I yelled back, but honestly I did. Her hair was dirty. Her clothes were too big. Her nose was bleeding and she had a bruised eye. Of course I'm gonna feel bad for her. She was beautiful but she was broken, hurt. I wanted to help.
"Please, let me help you." I begged.
She looked up at me with her beautiful brown eyes. "And how are you gonna do that?" She asked while crossing her arms. Scars. All over. It's worst than I thought. "Let me take you to the nurse. They'll give you an ice pack and bandages." I said. Her eyebrow raised and she glared at me."Why are you helping me? I hit you remember?"
" Of course I remember I have a terrible headache, but I can't stand bullying." I told her. I wanted more than anything I help her. She's trapped. I could see it in her eyes. I need to help her.
I stared at her. Big brown eyes, scarred skin but still flawless, short brown hair, she was... different.
No I refuse to fall for her. Don't even think about it Jax. She's only gonna hurt you. Don't fall for it. Just help her this once and that it.
I thought to myself. Is she really worth it?
Yes. She's worth every second.
