Courtney's PoV
Jax has been my boss since I was 12. I'm 18 now. He's 18 too. He's been kind of like a big brother to me. We met in middle school and somehow he got me into Independence High. We all lived together, me, Brendan, Oscar and Jax. We all got along perfectly.
Yesterday I got a call from him. He gave me a "mission." He wanted me to hurt some girls. Of course I accepted. I listened to Jax. I respected Jax. I loved Jax. We all do. He gave me a home, food, clothes, money. He gave me a family.
I threw on my leather jacket and gloves and entered the school address into my GPS. Jax got me the car for my birthday. Jax truly cared about all of his members. He has tons and tons of money and not enough people to spend it on. So, he spoiled each and every one of us.
I knew what I was getting myself into when he drove me to the house. A 14 year old driving a Mercedes kind of gave it away.
He was a gang leader.
The school was empty. It was 6:30 but I knew the girls were there cause of volleyball practice.
Jax wasn't very specific about why he wanted me to attack, but I rarely question him. He hates being questioned.
The girls were sitting on the other side of the gym. I cut the lights and made my strike. They will definitely learn their lesson after I'm done with them.
