Jax's POV
Its been two months since I first met Lena. She became apart of my daily schedule.
Meet her by her locker. Walk her to class. Pick her up from class. Meet Brenden, Oscar, and Courtney. Have lunch. Take her back to class. Drive her home.
It was an everyday thing. Seeing her became the highlight of my day. She became comfortable with me and my friends, and the bullying stopped.
Life was going great and I couldn't have been happier.
That's when I heard the gunshots. Bang bang bang.
My first thoughts were Lena.
I ran to her classroom as fast as I could. I ran as fast as my legs can go. All the way up to the fifth floor. I need to make sure she was safe.
I don't joke around when it comes to guns. I don't trust anyone but myself and my gang with them. I lost to many people to them. And Lena will not be part of that number.
The gunshots were coming from left and right. Up and down. They were everywhere. They echoed through the halls and the screams began.
My watch buzzed and started ringing. Oscar was calling.
"What!" I yelled
"There's a shooting!" Oscar exclaimed.
"I know idiot! Get Courtney and Brendan and spread the word to everyone else to get to the cars." I told him. I had a very bad feeling about this shooting. I needed to make sure everyone i cared about was safe back at the house.
"Jax!" Oscar yelled.
"What!"
"The shooters... they're part of the Riviera gang. I saw the mark on their jackets. They're heading up to get Lena."
