Lena's POV
Alec took me into this huge mansion. He held my hand and he didn't let go until he settled me into my room.
It was a room at the far end of the mansion. Far away from the front door, no back door and sadly no windows. Only one balcony at the back and it was locked with a glass door.
He told me I'll get the key once he can trust me.
It was a beautiful room actually.
Baby pink walls with a white bed in the center. The bed had a brown blanket with pink pillows. Lastly, there was a white desk in front of the bed with a flat screen TV right above. It was like a dream.
"You like the room?" Alec smiled, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"It's beautiful." I answered.
"I'm glad you like it. If you need anything I'm right next door." He chuckled.
"Is that why you put me here? So you can easily have 24 hour surveillance on me?" I asked, my smile fading.
" No! Of course not. I want you to feel as comfortable as you can here. I want you to feel safe knowing I'm a door down. No harm intended." He said, shaking his head and staring down at the floor.
I studied his body language.
His hands were in his pockets.
His shoulders were shrugged.
His ears were red.
He wasn't lying. He just wanted me to be safe.
"Will you ever let me go?" I asked.
He frowned and said, " Yes... but Im hoping you would become comfortable here and see this place as if it's your home. I want you to stay here, permanently. We're not bad people, Lena. We don't hurt and kill unnecessarily like Jax. Sure we have our missions and duties that need to be satisfied, but we aren't mean people. But, of course I can't keep you here forever. I just hope you'll get use to it and end up liking it here.
"I understand. I'll keep an open mind." I responded.
He smiled and left the room, and I was left alone,
in this new place my leader wants me to call...
