(Pic of Roger)
Lena's POVAlec's funeral was three days ago. Recently Jax's gang and Alec's gang all moved in together forming one of the most powerful gangs in the world. We were called the Anarchists under the leadership of Jax and Roger. Oscar and Cypress were co-leaders. The gang had over 1,000 people. The most important people of the gang lived in Alec's old house. It was me, Logan, Roger, Cypress, Courtney, Brenden, Oscar and Jax. Of course we had a couple of maids but it was mostly just us. Everyone else lived scattered through the pretty big gated community.
It was hard to see Alec get buried. To know I will never be able to kiss him or hold him or even speak to him ever again was one of the worst pains I've ever felt. I would do anything just to see him alive and smiling again.
Everyone was struggling with his death, even Jax. Roger and I were taking it the hardest though. I've never seen Roger so helpless. He hasn't came out of his room since the funeral. I decided to go visit him.
I walked through the quiet home all the way to his room. I knocked softly on the door. No response. I opened anyway and saw Roger sitting up staring at the wall.
"Hey." I spoke out.
He turned his head and looked at me and smiled weakly."How are you?" I asked as I sat down next to him.
"Don't you ever just think how great of a person Alec was. He wasn't a cold blooded killer like everyone thought. He had feelings and weaknesses. I- I can't help thinking about how strong he was." Roger cried.
Alec was the love of my life. He was everything I've ever wanted. Now that he's gone, he wanted me to fall in love again. I couldn't bear to fall for someone else. I wanted Alec.
I put my hand on top of Rogers and stared into his eyes.
"It's ok, Roger." I told him. "He's safe and happy now. I'm pretty sure he misses you too." I assured him.
Roger grabbed my hand and I wiped his tears.
"Everyone misses you." I told him. "You haven't been out of your room.""I couldn't see the house without Alec in it. I remember when we first bought this house. Alec wanted it so bad. I fought the owners for him." Roger laughed. "Just knowing he's not here hurts my soul."
"I know, Roger. But being stuck in here is unhealthy for you. You need some fresh air and food."
I grabbed his arm and helped him get dressed. I fixed his hair and buttoned his shirt.
"Thanks Lena, but I don't know if I could face everyone." He told me.
"No one is home." I told him. "It's just you and me."
We walked out of the room together and I held his hand. We walked all the way down to the living room and to the dining room. I made him pancakes and eggs and we ate together. We laughed and watched a movie. He fell asleep on my shoulder once the movie was done.
We were both hurting. He needed me. He needed comfort.
He needed love.
