Chapter 53

Neel's Narrative:

After our dinner, we arrived back to the house. We continued laughing until her laughter came to a close. We spotted Alisa and she was bleeding. We both came rushing to her side trying to understand what was happening to her.

"What happened to you?" I asked.

"Neel, you need to know the truth about your father. You need to tell Lily the truth about everything." she said.

I started to slowly panic because I knew that I wasn't ready to tell her the truth completely. I didn't want her to get caught up in the bullshit and I'm still trying to gain understanding of what is happening, especially when Lily's mom told me that my father has been lying to me about everything. So I know that I need to know the truth.

"Let's get you inside." I said.

"Noooo! Don't take me inside of your house. He will know that I've been here. I raced to get to you and Lily as fast as I could." she said.

I ignored her warning and lifted her up to take her inside of the house. Lily followed behind me and helped assist me with Alisa.

"Why did you bring me here?" she asked.

"We will protect you. He will not harm you ever again and that's a promise." said Lily.

I wasn't expecting her to have this reaction, but she was taking on a role of a Luna and she was doing one hell of a job at it.

"Neel, I need you to go get needle and thread because she's going to need some stitches. Also, don't forget to get some gauze." Lily ordered.

I complied, but when I was looking at her she was knowing exactly what to do, but I knew that I had the power to heal Alisa.

"You can heal me if you want to." said Alisa.

I looked over at Lily and she complied. Lily moved to the side and watched me attentively. I know that I didn't tell her everything about my Hybrid, but I just wanted her to continue to love me without looking at me as if I'm some mystical being, but I understand the frustration of it all, considering that she has been swallowed whole in this life that she know existed to her except for a couple of days ago.

I bit into my right wrist and placed my wrist to Alisa's lips. She drunk from my blood and her cuts healed at a fast pace, as if she was never harmed. She pushed my wrist from her lips and got onto her feet.

"I genuinely hate drinking your blood at time. The next time I'm going to die, just let me die in peace." Alisa joked.

I chuckled a bit, but I was still feeling some type of way.

"Why did you come here, Alisa?" I asked.

"It's about your father, Neel. You need to put a stop to him and soon. You don't know the truth about your father. Only I know." she said.

I took heed to her words. But I was still tensed up about how she was looking to me.

"Alisa, what is really going on?" asked Lily.

I damn near forgot that she was still here with me.

"Lily, I know that you have so many questions, but you don't need to trust Jack. He is a real threat, but Neel will never be able to see him as such because that is his father. If only he knew the truth about his mother, then his perspective on his father will go out of the window." said Alisa.

It didn't take long for Lancestor to come out into full view. I wrapped my hand tightly and firmly around Alisa's throat.

"LANCESTOR, DON'T!" screamed Lily.

"SILENCE! NOW, SPEAK." I said.

"Your father killed your mother during your birth. He wasn't certain that you would carry out his trait of being a hybrid. Your father hides his true nature from you and anyone close to him. Your mother was never his mate. They were just good at putting on a show for the pack." said Alisa while still grasping for air.

That can't be true. This can't be. This has to be a lie. I thought to myself after I lost my grip on Alisa's throat.

"Neel, I know that you don't want to believe it, but I'm the only person that has seen your father's true nature. You haven't. He has been playing you and the pack for years. He has trained you, but he is thinking about killing you." she said.

I was stunned by her words. I didn't understand what was happening. I couldn't even make sense of what was happening or what was being said. But I was processing everything that was being said.

Lily's Narrative:

I stood there watching my mate losing his shit. His father, the man that raised him and taught him everything that he knows, wants to kill him. What's the reason? Why now? He's not the only one that has multiple questions roaming through his head, but I knew that I needed to be here for my mate because I know he would be here for me. I walked up towards him and wrapped my arms around him.

"I got you. We are in this together. We will get through this." I was hoping that my words would get to him, but to no avail he pulled my arms away from him and he walked out of the house. I heard him shift into his wolf and I knew that he just needed time to process everything. If it's not one thing it's another.

"Tell me everything Alisa. From beginning to the very end." I said.

"I understand you want to be here for Neel, but only he can confront his father." she said.

I looked directly at her and looked deep into her eyes.

"See, you don't understand. You don't know anything. It's not about him confronting his father, it's the fact he has to come to terms that he will have to kill his own father. His own flesh and blood. That's a lot to take in." I said.

She nodded her head and was trying to leave.

"I don't know why you're in such a hurry. You haven't told me everything." I said again.

She stopped in the middle of her tracks and turned around to look at me.

"What is it that you want to know?" she asked.

"How is it that you're the only person that knows of Jacks true form? It's hard to wrap my mind around it, but I genuinely want to know." I said.

"The night that he killed Neel and I child. That's how. He bit me and made sure to curse me to see his true form. So every time I'm near him or around him, I can see his true nature when no one else could see." she said.

"Hmm." I said. I was taking time to investigate this bitch because I know there is more to the story that she isn't telling Neel and I know that part of it has something to do with me.

"So, if Jack kills Neel, what is it that he will get in return?" I asked.

I saw her reaction fast, but it disappeared as if it was never shown. Checkmate bitch. I thought to myself.

"I don't know what Jack is after. Jack is never satisfied." she said.

"I guess so, but I'm sure you know how to give Jack that satisfaction that he is looking for." I said.

I knew that she caught the hint of shade that I was throwing. Part of me feels as though that she's either fucking Jack or that she is afraid to go against him, but I know that I can no longer trust her. I'll have to find more about the truth on my own because I know that she isn't going to say too much. She probably was trying to escape from Jack and failed miserably. But I know that I will get to the bottom of this shit.

"Well, I'll see you soon, Lily." she said.

"I'm looking forward to it." I said back.

She walked out of the house and never looked back. I locked the door behind her and I started to worry about Neel. I knew that I needed to get some connections that don't know anything about this pack or have any ties to this pack. But I have to come to terms that I can't trust anybody. Everybody is either lying or working for Jack, so right now, I can only trust Neel and my three body guards. I just hope that no one is lying to me.
