"h-hey..." i quickly caught her limp body before it could collid with the ground. she's so weak. what happened?

"help... me" both my parents rushed to wonyoung's side. dad took her from me and carried her over to the sofa.

"thank y-you" her skin looks so pale, she has a cut underneath her left eyebrow and there's a bruise on her left cheek.

"wonyoung... tell us what happened?" my mom kneeled in front of her. wonyoung smiled a bit, that same old smile that never reaches her eyes.

"n-nothing... i just slipped and fell from my staircase hehe" she's lying.

i sat beside her after getting our first aid kit. "you're obviously lying, your mother did this!" i clenched my fists in rage.

"ahri" my father whispered and shook his head. no... this has been going on for too long! she's already been through so much and i will not just sit here and do nothing!

my mom is taking care of wonyoung's injuries. she rolled the sleeves of wonyoung's jacket up to her forearm. our eyes widened at the sight.

it was full of cuts, ranging from small to big, some looked like it was made just a few minutes ago, and some looked like it was made from many years ago.

i haven't seen her arms before, our uniform had long sleeves and whenever she's not wearing our uniform then she would always wear something with long sleeves.

"ahri... you know?" she said in an inaudible whisper, but i still managed to catch it. i nodded.

"i'm sorry" she started to cry. i didn't know what to do after seeing her break down like that. but i felt something i've never felt before; pity.

i shouldn't be feeling like this because if she found out then she would definitely feel worse. i already know the feeling of being pitied of and it was the worst.

"please.. don't t-tell anyone..." she said through sobs. my mom and dad looked at each other and i swear i saw it in their eyes that they wanted to do something about it.
