Chapter 16:
It’s been about a week since Caitlyn has been home from the hospital and even though things haven’t seemed to be getting any better with her ulcer, Caitlyn and I have been having the best time. Within this past week we started to do things that we use to do all the time before One Direction happened. Yesterday, we stayed in our pajamas all day and made about ten bags of popcorn, relaxed and watched our favorite movies.
It’s been nice just getting to spend some well needed time with Caitlyn. I could tell she enjoyed it too. Caitlyn was almost back to her original personality, lots of energy and always happy. I was just upset when I woke up and realized that it was time that I had to get back to work. All of the boys have been working so hard this past week while I have been on a break and they deserved a break as well, I was going to have a lot of catching up to do. I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes and then kissed Caitlyn gently on the cheek to wake her up. “Good morning, beautiful,” I said to her sweetly.
She looked up at me and said, “Good morning, handsome,” before she kissed my lips softly.
“Well, I have to go to the studio, but will you come in later and say hi?” I said with a big smile on my face.
“I’d love to, but I don’t know what time that will be. I have my appointment with Dr. Larkner, remember? It’s Tuesday.”
I completely forgot about that! I wanted to go with her to the appointment. But there was no way that I was going to get out of going today. “Man, Caitlyn, I’m sorry! I wanted to go with you but I forgot that it was today.”
She leaned up and kissed my cheek. “It’s ok, love. I figured that you wouldn’t be able to make it. If you don’t mind I did ask Liam to come with me. I didn’t want to go alone.”
“That is totally fine, babe. I’d rather you go with someone than by yourself any way.”
A few hours later I was going over what I had recorded when I got a call from Liam.
“Hello?”
“Harry, you need to get down here,” Liam said in a panic.
