                                              I felt my heart sank. He truly did look beat down. I hadn't noticed it before, but his hair was messy and he was wearing extremely casual clothes. He went from punk rock/grunge dude to laid back depressed dude. He just stood there, staring at me in the rain. I felt my heart start pounding. I don't know why, but I felt nervous. I knew something was wrong, because there was no reason for him to even be speaking to me, let alone crying over me. Or was he crying because of something else?
                          "What." I said with a stern voice. I didn't want to let him know I was nervous so I tried to make it seem like I was pissed off. I really wasn't.
                          "Am..." he replied. His voice was shaking- he sounded even more worried than I was. "I saw your parents," he said like 30 seconds later. Once those words escaped his mouth I felt my heart sank. So it wasn't a setup! They were here, they were actually here. 

                          "Where?!Jake where are they I was trying to look for them but none of the keys wo-" I said anxiously before being cut off. He put his hand over my mouth and started dragging me along with him. It wasn't really dragging since I was walking along, but it felt as if. 
                          "You can't say anything. Promise? Ok good. Don't even say a word. When I let go of you no sound should come out of your mouth. Got it? Good."
                          "Uhm" was all I could say.
                          He led me into the woods where we'd once been with the others. His hand was still over my mouth and I was getting annoyed. I tried to say "Where are we going" but it came out as "Wuh y gerlin gh"
                          "Shhh" was all he said.
                          After about 15 minutes of me planning a way to slap him in the face for being so annoying and dragging me into the woods. It was like he was actually planning to murder me or something, which he probably was. I bit his hand and he flinched away.
                          "Where are you taking me?!" I said raising my voice.
                          "Amber shut up! They can't know you're safe or alive, be quiet," Jake answered.
                          "Who's they?"
                          "Amber SHUT UP!" Jake said yelling but whispering at the same time. In that instant something moved in the leaves near us. More noise came in the direction ahead of us, but it seemed to be pointing our way.... or coming our way.
                          "Jake what was that?"
                          "Them."
