Ok, was he actually sitting next to me? When I told him he could sit there I didn't actually think he would, because he's like jock status and I'm a nerd. Literally. I wear glasses and I'm pretty shy. Why was he so cute? My gosh.

"Well I kinda do. I mean there's like nothing wrong with that because you're cute. I mean, you're cool" Did I just say that out loud? Holy crap I just said that out loud.

"Haha you said I was cute," He heard me. He. Heard. Me. My life is now officially over.

"Well you think I'm cute," I was really open with this guy and totally anti-shy. That's odd.

"I know you're cute, I don't think," a smirk spread across his face. He was tall, AMAZINGLY CUTE, and charming? Kill me now. "What's your name?"

"Mary..you know that,"

"What's your full name? How old are you?" Was he some kind of Vampire Council FBI agent? Why was he interrogating me?

"Mary Amber Kennedy. I just turned 16. I play volleyball and I act like I'm human and it pisses my sister off to an extreme,"

I heard him laugh. WAS HE LAUGHING AT ME?

"I'm Jake Green and girls piss me off to an extreme," He did not just say that. Oh. No. He. DID NOT JUST SAY THAT.

"Excuse me? Are you really going to sit there and say that to my face? I'm a girl in case you haven't noticed and that's really rude especially after you called me cute and made me grow a stupid crush on you and now you're sitting there insulting m-"

"I wasn't insulting you Amber. I'm just saying girls get me mad, it's true," Amber. He called me Amber. It made me feel all bubbly inside. He called me Amber.

"Why do we get you mad then?" I seriously wanted to know. I mean, I actually thought he liked me...

"It's a long story,"

"We're sitting alone by a lake eating disgusting pizza and I'm in sweats and a bun. I don't think I'm going anywhere," He laughed again and so did I.

"If you insist. I had a girlfriend named Jessica. She was more than my girlfriend-she was my best friend. She knew everything about me and I knew everything about her, well I thought I did. All of my friends knew about her and got along with her. Rhett, my cousin, got especially well with her. I didn't think too much of it though, because I trusted her. I loved her so much. She was my world, my everything, she was my escape from all the crap I had to go through. To keep things short, I found out she was just using me to get closer to my cousin.
