"Katy! Zoey!" Angeline's voice boomed through the house making us to rush in the direction from where her voice came. Angeline stood by the door, frozen while the room was a total mess! the cupboards were wide open and the lockers were almost pulled out. We quickly fished the room to find all our money and passports missing!
"what the hell happened here?" Zoey whispered.
"we have a break in!" Angeline whispered back shocked. Something kept on the nightstand caught my eye. I picked it up to find an envelope addressed to me.
'TO KATY'
"What's this?" I asked Angeline as she looked puzzled as well.
"open it," Zoey suggested and I followed it.
It was a printed letter, stating;
'Dear Katy,
I know, you guys might have found out that your passports and money's missing. Don't be surprised as I have them now. The thing that I want in return is just that, I want only you to come and meet me at 10:00 p.m in the evening, in the basement of stadium Merdeka. Note that no one else should be with you. Don't worry, I will neither hurt you nor take advantage of you. And going to cops is of no use, as according to the law, people without passport will be arrested so be careful and listen to me and I will return your things back to you.
yours truly
- Mr. X'
