I love myself.
I love everything
about me.
The fact that I
love men,
or women,
or anyone between
or outside of that
makes me happy.
I love to embrace
my identity.
I am a pansexual,
unapologetic and
happy.
I wouldn't want to
be "normal."
Why would I want
that?
Why would I want to
shirk off the heart that
makes me me?
I am queer.
I am able to live
my life boldly and
loudly because my
queer ancestors fought
so that we could have
this experience and
opportunity.
From the ballroom scenes
to the Stonewall riots
to the A.I.D.S. crisis,
they fought to be heard,
to be seen,
and to be safe.
I am queer.
And I don't feel
bad about it.
I am proud.
