Everyone was running full sprint down the street of Millie's house. Melaini has the clever idea of looking at Amie and Finn's location on snapchat and they saw that Amie was apparently in the abandoned library about a ten minute walk from Millie's house. Finn, annoyingly left his phone is the lounge but they just hoped he was with Amie it she knew where he was. They ran for about five minutes before they got the the library. It was about 11 at night now so it was dark and the only light source was the moon and some old dimmed street lights. They heard faint screaming coming from one of the top floors of the library. The library had had three floors, all had very high roofs and had many shelves and even more hiding places. Everyone looked up to the library really hoping that it wouldn't be hard to find Finn and Amie.
"Ok, we have to stick together, no matter what." Jack said his voice was shaking so were his hands.
"If whoever has taken Amie and Finn is smart they will try to separate us or make us get frustrated at each other so we need to keep it chill and keep an eye out for each other the whole time." Millie added still looking up at the library.
"Let's go." Noah whispered walking up to the double doors of the library, everyone followed.
It was dark inside, the tall shelves that stretched to the high roofs completely empty. The wooden floorboards creaked as they walked to the stairs that lead up the the next floor and they heard another scream. Everyone froze, it was easily recognised as a girls scream, it was loud and it echoed through the whole library. Melaini could hear her heart beating.
"AMIE WE'RE COMING" Noah screamed running up the stairs everyone ran after him. They reached the top of the stairs and came to another set of double doors. Noah tugged on the doors and pushed with all of his strength but they wouldn't budge.
"FUCK!" he yelled pushing himself away from the doors. He ran at the door and slammed into it with his shoulder, it made a loud noise and something on the other side broke. He pushed on the doors again and they opened, to something none of them ever thought they would have to see.
