Noah ran straight to Amie and slid onto his knees and leaned over Amie's limp body. She was still breathing but her eyes were closed and blood was running down her face. Noah has tears running down both of his cheeks and they dripped onto Amie's neck. Noah sunk his head into his hands and fell into a helpless lump on the floor sobbing. He sat back up again because he had just gotten a wave of other questions like 'where is Finn', 'who did this to Amie', 'what did Amie do to diserve this', so on. Amie's eyes fluttered open and she sat up looking around, when her eyes fell on Noah and she processed who it was she threw her arms around his neck and cried into his shoulder. She stood up and whispered,
"we need to find her."
"find who." Noah said he was standing opposite her his hands around her waist he didn't want to lose her again.
"i don't know who she is but she's insane and when she heard you scream she pushed me over into a bunch of glass from the windows she broke and that's how i did this to my head." Amie explained pointing to her head, the glass and the window when she mentioned them.
"and she took Finn with her when she escaped." Amie finished off.
"Do you know where they went?" Noah asked.
"Third floor." Amie said turning around to face the stairs. Melaini, Millie, Sadie and Jack walked closer to Noah and Amie now knowing that Amie was ok and had given them a bit of space for a minute. The entire library was silent, but such a loud and worrisome silence. They hadn't heard any noise from upstairs yet but they were all worried that they would find Finn the way they found Amie but they didn't want to find him dead so they decided to quietly walk over to the stairs. Light from the moon was shining through the broken windows onto the broken glass covered in blood on the floor a cool breeze coming through the smashed windows. They crept up the wooden stairs that lead to the last floor of the library they could see that the doors at the top of the stairs were wide open. Before they even got half way up the stairs they heard someone who they assumed was Finn telling someone else to stop. Finn telling this person to stop got louder and louder and his voice sounded more and more aggressive every time he said it. It wasn't just getting louder because they were getting closer but because he was yelling now. He almost sounded uncomfortable or really upset. Everyone slowed down as they got closer to the top of the stairs as they didn't want this other girl to notice that they were there. They got to the top of the stairs to find Finn not the way they wanted to find him.
