Everyone slept in until about 11am the next morning all now caught up on some sleep. Melaini and Jack sat in bed all cuddled up on their phones for a bit until they decided they wanted to get some lunch/breakfast. Amie and Noah were already out in the main living area laying on the couch Amie's head resting on Noah's chest. They decided to post mate starbucks to their apartment at about 1pm not really sure if they could call it breakfast anymore. They all ordered smoothies, Amie and Jack got a berry smoothie, Melaini got a tropical smoothie and Noah got a mango one. Today was the one week mark of how long Melaini had left in Toronto. It was also supposed to be a really hot day so they decided to go on a little road trip to the beach.
It would have been more exciting if one of them could drive but here's how the rest of their day went.
Jack texted his mum asking if she could take them on a little trip. She said she would love to do they packed all of their things ready for her to come pick them up. On their way to the beach they were driving past this massive field of flowers. There was one full of sunflowers, one full of little white flowers and one full of little yellow flowers. They all commented on how pretty they were so Jack's mum stopped the car so everyone could take photos. Everyone was wearing hawaiian shirts but all in different colours. Melaini was wearing white washed denim shorts, a sunset patterned hawaiian shirt tied up at the front and a red bikini underneath. Jack was wearing an orange hawaiian shirt with plain bather shorts. Amie was wearing a blue hawaiian shirt also tied up at the front, with black denim shorts and a black bikini underneath. And Noah was wearing a tie dye hawaiian shirt with plain bather shorts. Jack and Noah felt left out so they tied up their shirts for a photo too. Then they thought it was too uncomfortable and annoying so they left their shirts unbuttoned for the rest of the day.
They got back in the car and drove the rest of the way to the beach, the sand was smooth and almost white, they water was a gorgeous aqua colour except for when the gentle waves broke close to the shore. Once they got the beach Amie and Melaini took off their shorts and shirts and Jack and Noah only had to take off their shirts.
Everyone ran into the water it was cool but refreshing. Jacks mum stayed on the beach sitting on all of the towels. There was a couple of other people at the beach but none of them bothered them. Jacks mum was taking sneaky photos of them all in the water.I'm going to right the next chapter in Melaini's perspective from the time they were at the beach. :)
