*Jackson's POV*
Hannah slammed the door closed behind her and I ran to open the door when someone grabs my wrist and holds me back.
"Normally I would freak that your hanging out with my sister but right now we have bigger issues than vampires vs. werewolves. So I'm letting this slide." Derek said. I could see anger in his eyes but it wasn't pointed towards me.
I opened the door and ran out of the house as I heard a muffled gun go off.
Hunters!
I ran fast over to the car but before I got to the drive Hannah hit the gas and pulled out of the drive. I felt something inside me break into a million pieces,
...My heart...
I've never felt this feeling before. Although this was the first time I'd ever followed my heart.
I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard something flying threw the air. I bolted toward the house and closed the door behind me. When I turned around I seen everyone's eyes on me.
"Okay, we need to split up. Some of us need to fight off the hunters while the others find Hannah." Liam said sternly.
"It shouldn't be to hard for us to find Hannah. Derek and Caleb had me put a tracker in her car when she got it." Aidan said looking to the twins.
"Okay, Aidan you'll be going after Hannah since I'm assuming you have the equipment to find her. Now someone needs to go with you." Liam said looking over at me. Aidan followed his gaze and noticed it landed on me. "I can't believe I'm saying this but Jackson you need to go with Aidan to find Hannah. The hunters will go for the strongest then the weakest and at the moment Hannah is at the weakest. Caleb, you and Derek are better at fighting together than separate, so that's why us three are staying to fight."
We all nodded our head agreeing on the plan. I looking over to Aidan who looked annoyed. I found it kinda humours. But I wasn't gonna play games because Hannah is out there somewhere and could be hurt.
"All I have to say right now is Jackson... Aidan... Don't kill each other! We need you both, Hannah needs you both." Derek said sternly. We both nodded our heads. Aidan looked to me and sighed as he tilted his head toward the kitchen. I followed him in there and he pulled out his phone.
"Okay, so the app that I have the tracker hooked up will updates every 10 seconds, so we wont have the most accurate trail but it'll be close. We have a truck in the garage that we can use. It has four-wheel drive which may come in handy because it looks like she's took a dirt road." I nodded.
We walked over to the door that opened up to the garage and we hopped into the truck. Aidan opened the garage door as he pulled the truck quickly out of the garage barely giving it time to fully open before he hit a button for it to close.
"Open up the console and type in 5943 on the key pad." Aidan said taking a turn. I did as he said and typed in the code. When I entered the last digit a light started to blink at my feet. I reached down and found a handle. I pulled out a drawer that had weapons in it.
"Grab the two hand guns and load them. We may be supernatural but a weapon wouldn't hurt."
"That's true. You can't throw a punch from 50 yards away."
---
The tracker said the last place Hannah was at was Redbrook park. We went there first hoping she was still there. When we pulled up we didn't see her bug in sight.
"Maybe she parked it somewhere in this area." I said as I looked around. There was a lot of trees around and it was becoming dark.
"I feel like I've been here before." Aidan said as he pulled over to a stop. We got out and walked down a trail that lead to a bridge.
"You have 30 seconds to find her!" someone shouted from a far distance. It was a girls voice. Aidan and I walked over the bridge to find a muddy mess at the bottom. It looked like someone had climbed out of it because there was mud on the bridge.
"Follow me. I think I know where she is." I followed him threw the millions of trees until we seen a building in view. Aidan began to run like he knew were he was going. He lead us up a stair case to a balcony that over looked the lake.
"10 seconds.... Boys!" The voice said. It wasn't as much of a yell this time just like they could have been standing behind you. I walked over to the edge of the balcony and looked over. I seen something twinkle in the moon light.
"Hey, Aidan I think I found something." I jumped over the side and landed on the ground with barely any noise. I crouched down to see the necklace I'd given Hannah a while back. The first thing I noticed was there was blood on the end of the wing.
"What is it?" Aidan asked as he dropped down from the roof.
"It's the necklace that I gave her a while back." I said looking it over. I looked over to the lake that was a little ways down the hill and that's when it hit me...
I knew where she was.
