"Hey, Mady!" Sarah squeaked.
"H-hi." I jumped and replied with a stutter.
"What's you up to? How was your first day of sophomore year?" She asked with excitement.
"Fine I guess. Two guys in micro literally talked about taking my virginity, and they were right behind me."
"What the hell." Her face had pure disgust on it. "I wish I was there. I would have told them off so quick."
"Don't worry about." I chuckled.
"Well then, if so." She smiled.
"What is it?" I asked her. She had something planned. I knew it by her smile.
"Did you know that there is a party tonight?" She said following me in to my dorm.
"Yeah, I'm not going." WHATS the use of telling her that, anyway? She's not the type of person who takes no easily, especially when it comes from me. I just placed my palm on my forehead, once again.
She looked up at me as if I was suddenly speaking another language. "But there'll be cute guys there!" She said as if this were the mere answer to life. "Why are you always so freaking lame?" She examined a perfume bottle, something I got centuries ago. "And music. And dancing. You like dancing, right?"
"Ugh, I do bu-." She cut me off. I rubbed my hair back and rolled my eyes.
"You're always cramped up in your dorm. When will you ever live?"
She had a point. I mean, all I really do is sit in my dorm and study, read or binge watch Netflix all day when I'm out of school. I guess it would be nice to get out of this little room for a few hours and just have a little fun. I debated in my mind before giving into her before she started begging like an annoying puppy. "Ugh, fine... Just this ONE time." I pointed at her.
She smiled from ear to ear and stood up, "Then let's get ready."

We entered the party; the first thing I saw was some chick grinding some guy and I instantly felt sick to my stomach. Everyone here looked like upperclassmen, which terrified me inside. The music pumped in my ears, people continuously bumped into me, and my anxiety was at an all time high. Girls grinding on guys with only little clothing on looking like they came from the local whore house. Who knows? Maybe they did. Guys drooling over girls with shirts on that looked like their boobs would pop out of their shirt anytime now. And when a guy bumped into me and called me sweetheart, burped in my face, and nearly spilled his drink on me I decided right then and there I needed to go outside before I punched this asswhipe in the face. "I'm going to go outside.." And of course Sarah had already disappeared into the crowd.
I walked over to a bench outside not even noticing anyone around me because my heart was pumping in my ears and my head felt dizzy. "I guess partying isn't my thing.." I said to myself.
