~Okai, so here is some more of Monsters Academy. I'm already planning so much and I'm like, "Cait, calm down." Anyways, I hope you enjoy!!!~
I couldn't help but be amazed. The room was small, but it was beautiful. Drawings covered the walls. Posters of rock bands were everywhere. Shelves full of manga and anime were neatly organized. A laptop was opened to a paused video of pewdiepie playing happy wheels. Pages filled of Creepypasta characters were drawn into a sketchbook. This girl, Natsumi, was already labeled the coolest person in the world.
"Sorry if its a bit crowded. People think I'm strange."
" 'strange'? You are awesome! Everything in here is perfect."
Natsumi smiled a thank you and giggled. I jumped when I heard the door slam open.
"Natsumi! Where's my sword?!"
"I let Mika "borrow" it. Now go away, Shin! I'm showing my new buddie around!" Natsumi glared at Shin. He was tall, with stocky blonde hair. His eyes were a faded green, but they didn't tell me anything about him.
Shin looked my way before he spoke, "She must be the new girl. Everyone was saying how exciting it was gonna be to have a mortal at the school, but you just look pathetic to me."
That's it. I was pissed. I hate men. Shin was not putting out a good example for himself. "Who are you calling pathetic?! If I wanted to, then I could snipe you to death!!"
"Then why don't you?" Shin smirked.
The tension in the room was heating up and I found myself kicking him in the gut. He grabbed my kick and threw me out a window. The glass broke as I slid into the rocks and dirt.
Natsumi gasped and ran after me.
"Are you okay?! He normally doesn't do that to the new comers!"
"What's his problem..?" I winced in pain.
"Shin hates people. No one ever stands up to him like that."
I was curious about this man. Most men are quite stupid, but something about Shin gets to me. Time to investigate.
***
"Kokoro-Chan! Wake up! You don't want to be late to class, do you?" Natsumi was jumping on top of me and I pushed her off. I just wanted to stay under the warmth of the covers, but I knew I couldn't do that.
I got out of bed and took a shower. I put on my school uniform and headed to class with Natsumi behind me.
"It's about time that you decided to show up, Miss Natsumi."
"Sorry, I had to get Kokoro ready."
The teacher stared at me and nodded. He motioned us to take our seats. There was only one empty seat left. Right in front of Shin.
I took my seat as Shin rested his head on my right shoulder. I didn't dare to turn around.
"Good morning, beautiful. How was hell?" he chuckled. My cheeks were turning red. I stomped on his foot and he winced.
I kept writing down notes, trying to ignore Shin, but he wouldn't stop staring at me. I looked over my shoulder at him and he was glaring. He seemed to want me dead. I just wanted this day to end.
~Im trying to make the story more interesting, but Im still new at this. Hopefully, I will get the hang of it. Chapter 3 will come out tomorrow. Thanks for reading!!~
