Almost half the day off and Simon was coming home.

Wanting to have hands-on everything requires great sacrifice. Of course, it was worth it afterwards... not for nothing now Simon was who he was.

He opens the door of the Walliams mansion and once inside, he rests against the wall. He felt very tired.
Mentally and physically.

He stayed for a few seconds until he heard soft laughter... and music in the distance.

I know I stand in line until you think
You have the time to spend an evening with me

Frank Sinatra. What a welcome!

The man decides to find out the situation. They were in the living room, David, Robbie and Kathleen, watching something on TV.
More specifically, a Williams duet in a Royal Variety presentation.

"What a handsome man!" exclaims Mrs. Williams.

"Oh Mum, I love you" David hugs her by the shoulders.

They were so focused that they didn't notice the arrival of the entrepreneur, and Cowell preferred it that way.

"And afterwards we drop into a quiet little place, and have a drink or two..." sings the real David in sync with the David from the video "And then I go and spoil it all by saying, something stupid like BULA BULA BUL!"

This made those present laugh, including Simon.

The presentation went on until they sang one last 'I love you' and to Simon's surprise, Robbie Williams gives David a kiss.

Cowell was jealous.

It had happened years ago? Yes.
That they were best friends and the kiss didn't mean anything? Yes.

But the reason for his jealousy went beyond that.
He was jealous of Rob's security of doing whatever he wanted, of being transparent and acting without so much filtering... jealous of his trust and freedom to love.

Simon didn't have and probably, wouldn't feel that security.

"I really didn't expect that!" the writer exclaims, "Did you plan it from the beginning?"

Simon rested his eyes on David and his gaze was saddened.
David didn't deserve a coward, like him.
He didn't deserve a liar, like bloody him.

"No, let's say it came up at the moment..." Rob says flirty.

"Oh, stop being so gay."

They laugh and David Walliams, finally, sees who he was waiting for all day.

"My Simooooon, you've arrived!" he says in a cheerful tone.
He hastens to get up and cover the little (compared to his) body of Cowell with his arms. "You lasted centuries. Aren't you supposed to be taking care of me?"

The millionaire hides his face in the neck of his beloved "Sorry, darling..." whispers against his skin.

David, accustomed to the tycoon's rejection, freezes at the gesture.

He looks at his friend, questioning. Rob shrugs his shoulders and says with his lips: just enjoy it.

Walliams closes his eyes and squeezes the embrace.

"Are you all right, Simon?"

He nods and proceeds to greet the rest.
At least Simon felt less guilty about leaving him alone, because judging from the drinks on the living room table, he had more than one visit.

They had dinner together, talking nicely.
David wasn't really nervous until everyone decided to go to sleep.

Simon

I brush my teeth, get my face wet and dry. I recharge my arms in the sink and sigh.

You have to calm down.

I'm going to share a bed with David Edward Walliams.
And I find myself a heartbeat disaster.

We're just going to sleep, aren't we?

"Simon?" He knocks on the door, to open it moments later "oh, you were very quiet. I thought you ran out of the window or something."

"I was about to."

He smiles like a goddamn angel would and takes me by the hand.

"Come on Simon, I promise I won't do anything you don't want me to do."

I felt chills.

He turned off the light and I let him drag me out of the bathroom to end up face to face on the edge of the bed.

I hope he doesn't feel my heavy breathing, or see my blush, or notice how much I wanted to kiss him at that moment.

His eyes saw me attentively, and I felt exposed. Terribly exposed.

I escaped, as always, and climbed into bed, taking over the left side.

"Wow, I didn't know you wanted it so much," he mocks and lies down.

My answer dies in my throat when I feel his hand slipping between the sheets until he joins it to mine.

Oh my God...

I decided to pretend I didn't care and turn.
David laughs and I let out a whimper of surprise when in one movement he draws me to his chest, spooning me.

"I have to make the most of it, don't I? This doesn't happen every day" his warm breath caressed my ear and I had to suppress a groan.

It felt damn good to have my Dave around again.
Before I think about it, I bring one of his hands to my lips and leave a chaste kiss on it.

"Simon? I rea..."

"Just... sleep, mkay?"

He says yes and I curl up against him more (if possible).
I smile.
I'm in love.
