Needless to say, Deceit and I's relationship was going awesomely, much better than both of our last relationships. But speaking of Deceit's last significant other, there was a problem there. It had been such a long time since I got the chance to hang with F/N because me and Deceit were always together. After all the stupid love triangle drama, it was super awkward between them.

They seemed to avoid each other like the plague which is why I hadn't seen F/N in such a long time. So I attempted to fix one problem with another and invited F/N and P/P's boyfriend who learned his name was Lucas, the Marius Pontmercy actor from when she did props for Les Misérables, to go on a double date with me and Deceit. At first, P/P was incredibly hesitant but I managed to get P/P to agree.

What neither P/P or Deceit knew though was that I had planned to leave them alone so they had to talk. I, of course, let Lucas in on my master plan and, knowing their past, agreed. He did say we should only use as a last result which I decided was fair. We got to the casual restaurant in town to eat. Everyone was talking happily but Deceit and F/N were completely blanking eachother.

We tried everything to get them to talk, bring up things they both liked, ordering the soda they both hated and just did everything to see they still had something in common to speak about. Still nothing. I sighed, getting Lucas' attention. He raised an eyebrow and gestured with my head towards the front desk of the restaurant. He nodded and we both stood up.

"Sorry, we just remembered we had a bet to see who could drink the most pinapple juice in an hour and we don't have enough so we're getting more." That was all that was said before we scampered off to hide behind the doorframe and watch them. They both seemed confused, looking after us before they looked back at eachother, awkwardly making eye contact.

They both almost immediately looked away, avoiding eye contact like the goddamn plague. After a few minutes, Deceit eventually sighed, deciding that it wouldn't be as awkward if they spoke. "Hey F/N..." He attempted, trying to start a conversation to avoid both them being uncomfortable. F/N shruged, still refusing to make any attempt to met his eyes. "Sup." P/P simply said.

There was a beat of silence, both excepting the other to say something. Of course, nothing was said so Deceit tried to think of something to say. The only thing that seemed come to mind was an apology which is what came out of his mouth. "Sooo... sorry." I smiled how considerate he was, considering it a win for our plan. P/P seemed surprised before F/N shrugged again, eyes still on the ground. "It's fine."

"But I- oh... ok."

He seemed surprised by how calm F/N was when even from a distance I could see P/P was panicking inside. Another few seconds of silence past before F/N spoke softly, barely above a whisper. "I'm sorry too." Deceit looked at P/P in confusion, not understanding what P/P was apologizing for. Deciding to answer Deceit's slient Question, P/P spoke again. "For pressuring you into a relationship."

He stayed completely silent, not knowing how to respond before finally managing to form coherent words. "Uh... it's cool. Can we be in the same room without it being awkward now?" P/P nodded eagerly, finally looking up as P/P relaxed P/P shoulders. "God, I hope so. I missed hanging out with you guys." They both smiled at eachother and I internally highfived myself. Yes! Victory!

"Maybe Luther could come."

"Lucas."

Deceit scoffed and rolled his eyes jokingly. "Popatoe." F/N laughed. I grinned in victory and I was sure Lucas was too. I turned to him and raised my hand for a highfive which he did. Yep, he was cool, he could totally fit into the group. We walked back, faking innocence. They talked and joked with everyone, not excluding eachother this time however. I couldn't help but smile.

I was so glad they were talking again.
