Chapter 1

"if only I don't love you that much"

The girl position her head properly so she can see what she was studying. "literature?" she unknowingly says out and started walking over to Jennie while trying to keep her balance.

"so confidence? today is mathematics paper yet you are studying literature?" she says.

Jennie rolls her eyes and adjust her position so that she wouldn't have to face her.

"ahhh so stress, i didn't even get to study at all and I sure will score badly" she started acting out.

jennie ignore her and move herself further from her.

A guy started walking towards her and lean his head in, trying to look for her name on the cover page which has her name 'jennie kim' written on it.

"Dove" he says. She turns and gives him a weird look before looking back at her book.

"I say the shampoo you are using is Dove" he repeated.

"I am using Pantene" she rolls her eyes.

"tsk so mean, I pity your boyfriend" the guy fake a pout.

"I pity you more, use such a stupid method to ask if I have a boyfriend" she forces a smile and closes her book before alighting the bus.

She can't help but sigh when she realized that she will be late if she boards the next bus. She took out her phone to call him to see if he is able to fetch her to school.

He picks up the phone on the third ring and a shouting was heard across the phone "I told you I am not going to school today and I swear Park Jimin if you ask again, I am going to rip you apart" 

"are you still sleeping?" jennie crinkled her brows.

"AHHHHH jennie ah" his voice immediately soften.

 "no no no, I am already on my way to school, see you later!" he immediately hang up the call and sigh in relief before getting off his bed to change into his uniform.

Jennie moves the phone away from her ear and saw that the call was ended.

"yah how dare he hangs up my call" she says to the phone.

"why are you late just now?" jisoo can't help but ask as jennie wasn't those type of people that will be late without a valid reason.

"ah I --" when jennie was about to explain, her phone ring and she take out to have a look before sliding it back to her pocket.

"its jungkook, why you don't want to answer?" jisoo asks.

"oh because --" when she was about to explain, "ding" she takes out her phone and a notification pop out. "I am in class right now" jennie read and ignore but after a few seconds, he sends her an image of him in the classroom.

"you should reply him" jisoo suggested.

"I am hungry, let's go get food first" Jennie slip her phone back to her pocket and drag jisoo to walk faster.

jennie and jisoo walk into the lecture hall and jennie immediately frown when she saw jungkook. jungkook saw her, smile widely and wave his hand high up. He signals her to sit beside him as he saves a seat for her but she ignores him and took the seats in front with jisoo.

when the lecturer was facing the board writing stuff down, jungkook take this chance to walk over to her. He grabs his bag and bends his back to avoid blocking others and getting unnecessary attention from others. With his back bend, he lightly taps Jennie's thigh, hinting her to move a seat in but she ignores him.

"jennie, move in" jungkook whisper but she still ignores him.

Just this moment, the teacher turned his back and saw jungkook. "student if you are late, quickly take a seat and don't disturb others"

"anyone wants to try solving this question?" the lecturer asks while scanning the students. He stop when his eyes met jungkook's. "how about the student that are late just now?" 

All the students look at where the lecturer was looking at and gasp when they realize he is looking at jungkook.

jungkook look at jennie, trying to ask her for help but she just ignores. jungkook slowly stand up, getting ready to walk down to solve the question but someone shouted " he is not from this class" 

Jungkook often skips his lesson to attend Jennie's lecture to the extent whereby almost the entire lecture hall people know that he is Jennie's boyfriend.

"why are you here then?" the lecturer asks.

"I--" he looks at jennie and then looks back at the lecturer.

"accompany his girlfriend" someone shouted across the lecture hall. Jungkook doesn't know whether to thank the person for helping him or to whack that person.

"oh, who is his girlfriend?" the lecturer asks while looking at jennie, as if he already knows she is his girlfriend.

jennie look down and slowly raise her hand up high. The lecturer smile and asks " why not you come down to solve this question?"

Jennie sigh and make her way down to solve the question.

When the lecture ended, jungkook immediately grabs Jennie's bag to prevent her from ignoring him.

"Listen, I thought you are jimin that's why I shouted at you and I am sorry for not wanting to go school today but I end up coming isn't it? so can you please don't ignore me?" jungkook say while holding her bag high up.

"okay, now give me back" jennie says while tipping her toe, trying to reach out her bag.

A guy from behind snatch the bag over and pass it to jennie. jungkook turn over and grab his collar. "can you please don't interfere us?" he says through gritted teeth.

The guy tries to remove jungkook's hand off his collar but jungkook end up tightening it. "I just can't stand guys like you" he says and pushes jungkook off. Jungkook stumbles a bit but did not fall. He stomps in front and throws a punch at his face. "stop it" jennie says while trying to hold him back but he removed her hand and when he was about to throw another punch, jennie stand in front of the guy with her eyes close tightly.

Jungkook immediately stop "what are you doing? move away" he says and shoves her aside.

"I told you he is possessive" the guy says to her.

"don't you dare talk cock about me to my girlfriend" he grabs onto his collar, pulling him closer to his face.

"jeon jungkook, either you follow me out now or I will make sure you don't see me anymore" jennie say and walk out of the classroom.

"You watch out" jungkook push him and stab his index finger on his chest before following jennie out.

"I am sorry" he turns jennie around and unfolds her arms.

when she open her mouth and was about to lecture him, he slams his lip onto hers. After breaking the kiss, he added "I promise I will control myself next time, I just love you too much"

"you go first, I still got mathematics test later" she says in defeat. If only if she doesn't love him that much, he wouldn't have such effect on her, causing her to ease all her anger just by a simple kiss.
