All Too Well

♚ Chapter Twenty One ♚

Smile, Black, Freckles, Snake and I stood by the Campania, a large cruise ship. We stood along with thousands of other nobles, which mingled with each other. Mey-Rin, Baldory, Finny and Tanaka also stood with us, although they won't be boarding the ship. "Wah!" Funny cried. "So this is the Campania ship!"

"Sure is huge," Baldory admired, cigarette in his mouth.

"So surprising!" Mey-Rin squealed.

Black was talking to a crew member, giving them the room key to Smile's room. "Please take these to first class suite number A66," he instructed.

Smile stoped forward, taking a closer look at the giant cruise ship in front of us. "Campania ship," he muttered. "Majestic Star Line-a bet on the company's service of construction, a super luxurious cruise sailing across the Atlantic Ocean."

"I get excited only by watching," Finny laughed. "It's so nice! Snake, Freckles, and Violet are also going together with them."

"Take a good care of the Young Master for us," Baldory nodded.

"I have always wanted to travel on a ship," Mey-Rin sighed, clasping her cheeks with her hands.

"While we are gone, please do your jobs properly," Black ordered.

"Yes Sir!" Baldory, Mey-Fin, Finny and Tanaka saluted.

Smile climbed up the stairs to the ship, holding his top hat as he glanced back down at the rest of the staff. "Well then!" He stated. "We're off!"

"Have a good trip!" Finny waved at us with both of his arms.

"Be careful!" Mey-Rin warned.

As the ship honked its horn, it pulled away from the dock. The four still waved at us while Snake, Freckles and I gave a small wave back before turning our focus to the massive ship as it pulled out of the harbor. I leaned over the railing, watching as the ocean waters passed underneath and as London grew smaller and smaller for every second that passed.

"We have started departing," Black stated.

"Yeah," Smile nodded. "What lies ahead...is known only to the great ocean."

"Isn't it amazing how something this big with so many of us inside still remains afloat and movin' across the ocean?" I asked Snake. He nodded in response but I noticed something was wrong. "Snake, where are your snakes?" I asked him. Snake pointed to a crew member pushing a bunch of wooden boxes someplace beneath the deck. "In a wooden box?" I questioned and Snake nodded again.

I noticed Freckles wasn't beside Snake and looked to my right where Freckles was leaned over the railing of the ship like a wet shirt on a laundry line. "Freckles...?" I trailed, lifting a hand at her.

She smacked it away. "Don't," she groaned, still leaning over the railing.

"What's wrong?" I asked her.

"I didn't know it was possible to be sick while on the waters," she replied, lifting her head. She looked green and her cheeks puffed as she covered her mouth and vomited over the railing.

"Ciel," a female voice spoke.

Turning around, I saw a pale girl with green eyes and blonde hair tied up into twin drills with a blue ribbon tearing up beside Smile. "You're here!" She smiled. "When I invited you, you said it's not possible."

"I-I wanted to surprise you," Smile stammered.

"You took a vacation for my sake!" She squealed, running up to Smile and almost knocking him over with a hug before spinning him around. "I'm so happy!"
