I'm not gon' sit here and say I hate my dad because I don't. Have I ever fully forgiven him? No. I can't hold malice in my heart to the man that gave me life and raised me, but creating a whole other family is a betrayal hard to look past. Like when did his family become not enough for him? Bad enough he was already tied into a risky lifestyle.
I took a day to pack and get myself together. Kaine had some emergency with his mom in Houston so he left before I did. I really prayed his mom was okay because Kaine didn't say much except that she couldn't be alone. Necessarily, I don't feel I have a right into his family business; but on the same note I actually love him. We talked about me seeing my dad for a couple minutes before he rushed off the phone. With everything going on, I figured giving him space was the best route.
