Redemption

19..

I feel the mattress dip a little before I feel gentle fingers brushing away hair strands from my face. I tried not to show any single reaction and just lay their pretend to be sleeping.

By his breath falling on my face I can sense that he had lean in and then something soft touch my forehead.

He never do this.

He usually just sneak inside the room murder a quite good night and then went away.

What happen to him today? These gentle touches, forehead kiss, making me want to open my arms and hug him, what is he up to?

I'm so sorry.

I heard him whisper and then he dip lower and give a gentle caresses to my belly over the blanket.

I love you.

He whisper again.

Did you ever found yourself in a situation when you want to hug the only person who have ruined your life?

I feel my closed eyes moisten a little. I was about to open my eyes and tell him let's run away together..

But a voice stop me.

I heard the door open and another footstep coming near me.

"How dare you to do that randhir,  you want to destroy me and my hard earned reputation for this girl?"

It's  his dad's voice.

"Don't shout dad. She is sleeping.  Let's go and talk in your studies." With this randhir get up from bed.

"Talk? What is left there to talk? Did you even think about me before going to them and telling that you killed aryan not her"

What ? He did what?

Oh my God. 

"I did the right thing dad. Now let's go out of here I don't want her to wake up. " said randhir upset.

"Just thank God randhir that my friend told me about your this recent stunt and i stopped it. If this stunt would have goes out and would impact my reputation, I would have kill you." Groans his dad.

"Reputation ? Dad? Only reputation?  That's the only thing you ever cared for." Randhir almost sounded like crying.

"That's not true. I care about you too." His dad answer back.

I have to continue my sleep play because I don't know what will happen when they see be fully dressed beneath the blankets.

Randhir did all this for me?

He took all blame for me?

"I want you to be happy " said randhir dad.

There was a long pause and nobody said a thing.

My first instinct was to get up and  hug him so tight and  tell him that we are in this together.

"And I want her to be happy" said randhir.

There was silence for few moments until I hear footstep going far from us and Door close.

"I will find some other way but I will get you out of it. I promise. You both deserve all the happiness  of this world" randhir murmured

But Not with out you.

I wanted to say but I  didn't.
