Part 8 "Pirate's Booty of Souls"
Chapter 25. Orion:
Pirate Ship on the Crimson Island shore line...
"They fucking took them! We have to do something..." Orion was pacing now, his hair standing on end. The sun had begun to crawl lower in the horizon, nighttime would be approaching soon.
"Yes, and we will. First though, look at that other ship that's been docked. That's Captain Monty's ship." Vilus pointed at a neighboring ship that indeed sat on the water of the Island, it had come from the western direction, from Atraeles.
"And...your point? Our friend just got taken onto Mindkrypt's head captain's ship, Captain Shark. Jaws just took our friend!" Orion couldn't stop himself from making the reference.
"We need to be smart about it, Orion. Think, think!" Vilus tapped his head, giving Orion an intense look. "Mindkrypt specializes in tactics, sure, he wasn't very smart before, but he was being influenced and controlled by Harmony to help the Trinity."
"What does Monty have?" Orion asked he narrowed his eyes at his buddy for some wisdom.
"What did Peter slip Captain Monty shortly before he left with Captain Shark?" Vilus asked Orion.
"A soul? One of those vials?" Orion asked.
"Yes. We go on to the ship, we grab a vial, and then we let the chaos commence as we rescue our friend." Vilus reassured Orion. "They're dangerous, so we have to be careful not to destroy the ship."

Orion stood near the captain's chambers, a dark golden rimmed doorway
"Wait...I was supposed to get ye prisoners. Yar be my prisoners." The pirate said turning to face them.
"No..." Orion began.
"Not prisoners." Lijuan deadpanned, her eyes glowing red.
"Barley get to the kitchens, find your rum, leave them be." Said a familiar voice. Orion turned and saw a very rumpled up looking Vilus standing in the doorway. Lijuan sauntered up to Vilus and gave him a wet kiss on the mouth, Orion assumed it was wet because she's part fish. They come wet.
"Me names, not Barley, Matey. It's Barnum." Barnum said, grumbling.
"Right. Get going. The Cap is expecting me in his corners." Vilus grunted. Lijuan hovered behind him. Orion says 'hovered' because she seemed to be floating in mid-air, and Orion couldn't figure out why until Vilus ducked out the door again without even looking at them, and Lijuan cast her red-eyed gaze at them, and Orion noticed her very purple and blue fins just below her waistline, she was leaning on the base of the fins and just bouncing on the bottoms.
"What are you staring at wolf boy?" Lijuan snapped at Orion.
"Fins. That's what I am staring at. They look great and fishy." Orion said.
"He really does like fish," Lijuan said batting her lashes.
"No, he doesn't like fish, he loves fish." Orion said teasingly. Lijuan rolled her eyes.
"One of my uncles is on the boat. Act on your best, doggy." Lijaun said. Orion panted, and stuck his tongue out.
"Sam is on the boat, too." Lijuan added.
"Princess of darkness Sam or a different moody Sam?" Orion asked.
"No, the demon lord. 'S'am'." She had to pronounce the name right and put up air quotes with her fingers.
